One thing that no one mentions that is a huge selling point for the two over the 3 for me is it's basically a night vision camera. My wife has the 3, she has problems losing tracking in low light. The two amplifies low light so much better, and if you put an infrared light on it you can play it in pitch black conditions.
Best tip is you can set the lenses between the three preset settings. I have to set mine just right between 2 and 3 where the screen will say 83. The image displayed by the lcd will actually move slightly left and right with each setting. Kind of like the tv setting where you can adjust the screen size and position.
@@closz9254 the lenses being off? Its something similar. I don't wear or need glasses so if the lenses are off, it feels like I'm wearing reading glasses and trying to do stuff around the house or whatever. My eyes feel like they are straining and my vision feels off center.
I have a tip barely anyone knows: while the headsets on if you hold the power button, the volume - and + buttons all at the same time it will restart the headset
I was playing AVR and then when I was running on the horror map, I accidentally threw my controller somewhere. Is there like something on the Meta Quest app that tracks your lost controller?
Also if you go in guardian settings and active double tap pass through if you tap side of headset will show the black n white camera so you can see what your doing then tap back in game
Yeah, I discovered the fan thing because I was tapping my head in gorilla tag and then I felt air blowing on my hand, and then I literally took off my headset to figure out where the h3ll that air was coming from
Yup they come with a fabric cover, and later one started getting shipped with a rubber cover piece that would go over the fabric because the fabric was causing people to get skin irritation
I got a few videos on them if you want to check them out, all of them pretty much work the same but I prefer the amvr one so far, let me know what one you choose too!
#6, the vent on the quest 2 is practically fake, on the inside the fan is pushing towards supports on the front faceplate that blows air directly into the components and overheats almost all components but no one notices because of the casing designed to dissipate the heat and separate your hand from said internals
The rings are not compatible for gorilla tag. Quest3 is better since it uses cameras, that means no loosing tracking. Or atleast no perminate no tracking
Guys i have a serious problem. Recently my left controller stopped being detected, i tried replacing batteries and even looking inside the controller, but still stopped working. And at the moment this message was sent, i attempted fixing it via the app, but accidentally clicked right controller, and now i cant use both. Should i buy a new Vr? Or is there any other way to fix it? Edit: Did not manage to fix it, but i bought a new one, and now it works. thanks for nothin yall
