I used to prep everything BUT water. Dirty Civilian did a video on water preparedness with the guy from CANA provisions and it made me realize I REALLY gotta have a plan for water. I’m starting out small with Aquatainers from Walmart.
Keep it coming great info and very useful. I know I can thumb up your videos before I even watch them. I think you were under 500 subscribers when I started watching. I have not been let down yet 👍👍
Info for those looking to get into canning. Garage sales are a great place to pick up canning jars on a budget. The things I wouldn’t go cheap on are lids and canners themselves. Look at All American pressure cookers and get a canner like that. You never have to worry about replacing seals on that style of canner. The other thing is lids. Look at Tattler reusable lids. I’ve been using them for almost 20 years now and they work great. Ball canning guide is a good starter book to look at.
@unclefreedom213 6 or so months back you mentioned books for learning primitive/natural medicine. Have any suggestions of reputable books that don't also incorporate magic crystals and other hippie crap? I have some of the old FoxFire books, but they aren't specifically about medicine. It is all types of great historic processes and knowledge but I want a few good medical geared materials if you know of any. Thanks.
I totally forgot about the season of peaceful protest, yep I'll get on the stick and get some peaceful seeds. Being out in the country has its advantages, camo and concealment. Along with the load development area to fine tune the long range boomsticks. Great to see ya, and becareful out there during this dreadful season.
The ammo shortage was industry instigated. They successfully cried "look! Squirrel! Thus successfully diverting attention from the fake shortage they created to "the gubmint" or some other boogieman. Hold them accountable this time.
12:17 thankyou!!!! I work with a dude who has been getting into prepping, he told me that he bought ammo, i asked how it ran cause i hadnt heard of the brand, he said its 9mm so itll work, no! For the love of god no. Buy a few boxes, make sure it runs, then bulk up, i bought a case of magtech only to find out my echelon wont eat it reliably, atleast 2 issues per mag and i used 7 different mags, itll run in other firearms, but to find that out when i need it, woulda sucked, test your stuff! Make sure your firearm likes the food you gonna feed it,
I just purchased an Echelon and shot about 300 rounds at the range yesterday. The first 100 were magtech, and I was having a fit. My groups were atrocious. I switched brands and everything tightened up.
@@emeralddrgn4 absolutely 👍🏽 it’s possible to do that with rocks that have been stuck in a fire for awhile, and eventually after lots of experiments you can select a group of rocks that get water to just the correct temperature for washing. That same fire could be used to purify other canisters of water (by boiling for 1-2 minutes) into drinking water, cooking, or anything one needs treated water :) But yes 👍🏽 electricity is dope, and it is always beneficial to have a energy source, and several backups as well as fuel and batteries to continue to produce electricity when things are not working
Question for the group, lets say you have 2 full sets of plate carriers, you are not constrained by your occupation to determine which color you choice i.e. you have to go with black for at least one because your job requires it. What two colors would you go for specifically for just being a civilian?
I’ve really cut down on the prepping because after all of the pandemic prepping, it seems as if there’s no need for it all, Nothing happened. I probably need to start again.
I have a hard time knowing what to start with next. I have firearms, and starting to get a good amount of ammo stockpiled but don’t have plates or carriers or belts or other tactical stuff. Food water and power is pretty much taken care of. Also, gun maintenance is definitely missing as well.
For the tacticool stuff : Plate carrier(and plates) , 2-3 backpacks to hold all yer junk (and quickly toss em in a vehicle) and helmet in order of importance for you
Good armor and a good carrier, solid belt system, wear parts, extra barrel for an AR or even an upper that is complete with optic and vetted. Comms are a hard one, I'm getting on board with having a drone or 2 as well
They work well are cheaper and I've had good luck with them. I've had great luck with gen 3 of which I have over a hundred same with lancer. I've never had an issue with gen 2 and it's a more economical way to put back a ton of mags
@@unclefreedom213 I could as well .But the 2020 lockdowns and Ukraine situation show me how little rebellion is left in the modern man compared to past generations
