2:16 , I really did noticed that whenever a new family member tries to interact with them, they immediately flew away from them or back to me, especially kids somehow they can tell when a person is young and small 😂😂😂
About the loud noise. My tiel is so odd. He loves the sound of gunfire for some reason. So I’ll usually leave war movies on while I’m gone. My family jokes that it’s because he’s a rescue and hates humans, but we’re pretty sure it’s because he use to live in a laundry room so the banging reminds him of the washer and dryer. However he hates suppressed guns, so if I’m playing a shooter while he’s in the room I have to take my suppressors off or he’ll start freaking out. Like he will sleep to gunfire! I’ve never heard of tiels doing that.
I do Civil War Events. The first time I brought my Blue Crown Weirdo, his feathers went flat during the battle as cannons went off. By the next event, I could see him thinking - "Oh! They're making noise! I can make noise, too!" Then proceeded to scream, screech and raise heck during every battle!
My Budgies *_loved_* the vacuum cleaner sound! My two males would try to vocalize louder than the vacuum and each other. It was hilarious to hear them warbling over the machine, and when I switched it off, they'd kept singing a minute or two. Then they'd look around, suddenly all confused, as if to ask, "Where did the sound go!?" 😂😅
Thank you so much. This has helped with my birds a. Lot, I have a feisty budgie named tulip and she was like a wild animal before and you and other bird youtubers have helped grown my trust with her. And I did it while she had babies! They are all healthy and one of them is around 24 days old! Thanks for building my little army of birds ⬛⬛⬛🟨🟨⬛⬛⬛ ⬛⬛🟨🔳🔳🟨⬛⬛ ⬛⬛🟨🟧🟧🟨⬛⬛ ⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩⬛ ⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩⬛ ⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩⬛ ⬛⬛🟩🟩🟩🟩⬛⬛ ⬛⬛⬜⬛⬛⬜⬛⬛
My birds (2 parakeets) were very social and would even come running to me when I got home, then they'd ride around on my shoes or head while I did my tasks. Lol they just brightened up my life with their cuteness!. Til one day, when I wasn't present, my 9 year old son tried to GRAB them forcefully to hold them because they wouldn't come to him. That incident changed how they acted from that moment on. They are terrified of people, including me, and will only socialize with eachother. Breaks my heart, I don't think they'll ever be the same. 😢 Of course I still love them and take great care of them, and my son is not allowed anywhere near them. I just miss when they liked me and weren't afraid.
I agree - Always be patient and loving to your little friend(s). Your home should be a tranquil place. All arguments should be taken to another room! BTW - I went to check out the channel, but I don't think I'll subscribe. The images of the other videos showing the abuse of budgies are simply _horrifying_ and made me nauseous (and possibly flared up my PTSD). Anybody, kids included, who'd be that cruel to those innocent, affectionate little birds are downright evil.
Clipping is not that bad. The feathers grow back and if you clip only 3 or 4 primary feathers on each wing the bird will fly but only on short distances. And it can stay free in the house and reach only safe places. And outside it can't get lost. Only some short free fly. Then back to me or the cage.
Hi Bird nuggets. My baby budgie which is of 3 days old, fell out of the nest. I took it and kept it back inside the nest. Will the parent budgies still feed them? I am a bit worried. Please tell me what I can do.
Keep checking on it to see if it is fed by it's parents, if not then u'll have to feed it with a tiny syringe minus the needle. Discard the needle immediately
My dad found a budgie sat on his hand that is like so 😊 , and in after some days we went to bird shop and bought 3 budgies and we bought 300 aed gosh it wars like a mansion bigger than my book stack gosh but we give new food every week and clean its things by 2 day 2 days
I clip my birds wings and that they are grounded for life, isn’t true. They usually grow back within 6 months. This is so they don’t hurt themselves crashing into things.
Number one is so true! In the mornings, when I need to leave, and I'm in a hurry, if I try to put my bird away quickly, he gets anxious and flies away. I have to approach him like it's any other day, and he is okay going right back into his cage.
I agree that birds were meant to fly, and I give mine the opportunity to fly whenever possible. However, I disagree about wing clipping. I have a cockatiel that I try to keep his wings clipped - for his own safety. I neglected to keep a close watch on his flying ability on two occasions and it cost him two toes. We would be sitting together on the couch having a good time when something would frighten him. He left me and headed for his cage. The problem is that he did not fly to his cage, but headed for my sun conure's cage. In less than 2 seconds my sun conure attacked my cockatiel when it landed atop his cage. We are only talking about 15 feet from the couch to the cage, but before I could jump from the couch to the cage the damage had been done. My sun conure had bitten my poor cockatiels toe so badly that I had to have a vet amputate it. You would think that the cockatiel would have learned from this experience, but this scenario repeated itself a 2nd time months later. You would expect the cockatiel would go to his own cage which is about 10 feet from the sun conures cage, but no, he always goes to the sun conures cage. I had not been vigilant and allowed his wings to grow too much. Same scenario - he left me and flew to the sun conures cage again, and ended-up losing a 2nd toe. Since that time I keep a very close watch on the length of his wings and clip them when necessary. He can still fly horizontally for about 10 feet, but he cannot gain altitude to land atop the sun conures cage. My cockatiel is happy and healthy (minus 2 toes) even though he cannot fly. I clip his wings for his own safety. Sometime this needs to be done.
We have done a training clip to all 12 of our parrots. Over 35 years I have seen too many "humane" owners watch helplessly as their bird flew out the door. They will usually not survive as they don't know how to find food, or the weather kills them, or predators. Not worth it, IMO. Our birds are happy.
Yes, communication is very important :) I actually used to have a Guinea pig who befriended my budgie! After the Guinea pig died my budgie became depressed ;(
Hey i have a question to yall, They reccomended the big vision cage they have in their videos but do you think the smaller model will work for a singke budgie? Im planning to change my budgies old cage and im curious since I found a used one for cheap! :)
I have an Orange Winged Amazon. One of my friends came over who is scared of birds in general. After a few hours of hanging out, he asked if he could pet my parrot. I told him he can try, and that he needs to understand that he might bite the snot out of him. But under no circumstances could he get physical if that happened. He behaved and so did my bird. He said it helped him not be so afraid.
Birds are magical. I had a friend who was also the same way, and was afraid of birds- was raised around chickens. I went to their home to visit before taking the long trip home, and my Blue Crown Weirdo hung out in his travel cage on a chair. He was impressed by how quiet my bird was able to be, and got over his fear of just my lil guy. Over the years, my friend (R.I.P.) would ask about him when we chatted online.
You probably won’t see this, but my budgie won’t even let me come near it and it seems to be terrified of me. What should I do? I’ve done everything your videos said to do.
My bird wants to meet new people always we just resort to keeping in his cage cause he just invades every new persons space😅 PS. He can also switch to happy to biting in SECONDS one time he bit a kids eye ( the kids okay ) ( it’s not common for him to do that that was the first time in like 7 years
I have a fairly new (2 weeks now) scarlet-chested parakeet - I kicked his cage door by accident when I turned around and scared him :((( I'm sure he'll be ok, but I hope he still learns to trust me...

I usually clip my bird's wings when they are young, and they grow back after a while. During this time they usually learn that the windows are solid before they can fly into them. But I agree, never continuously clip their wings, birds deserve to fly.
I guess humans ability to walk should be limited so that they can learn how "solid" their hands are... how would they feel have you every thought about it? How would you feel if someone stopped you from using your legs
@@NatashaNats111congrats you won the award to the densest mf of the year!!! Please don't have birds as you can't understand they don't know what a window is and they can seriously injure themselves when flying into it (or god forbid, they can escape, to which they will meet a very miserable undeserved demise cause their owner didn't want to make sure they learnt safety basics before letting them free fly)
I know the Creator who made these birds and he wants to know you!! Isnt that amazing see Jesus died on the cross for your sins he became sin so you would be forgiven!! We have all sinned but it we repent of our sins and ask Jesus who is the son of God into our hearts your forgiven. He actually says he throws away your sins into a sea of forgetfulness isnt that amazing!! He is returning soon and he wants to take you with him but most of all he wants to have a relationship with you so just say this Jesus i am a sinner wash me in your blood forgive me of my sins set me free and encounter me!! Jesus is calling you today please answer he loves you so very much
Please help me i have buyed a female bird but i am a kid i need to keep him home and lonely please help me by creating a video of keeping them home and should i gave him soft toys like teddy bear pls help
Never discipline a bird or small mammal. They won't understand it and will only destroy any existing bond. That means they get away with anything.... But who cares? Their sweetness makes up for it a million times over.
Clipping wings part is SOOO untrue in my experience. Your bird will love you even if you clip their wings. Clipping is for safety reasons and I would only suggest you do it during the summer when the fans are on and your bird is at risk of flying towards them (which they do). Not clipping them is fine as well if there are no safety hazards. Birds are meant to fly but tamed birds aren’t like wild birds. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Man I really tried to find a place where the bird wings were not trimmed but those places are really far away so I had to get a bird trimmed so that’s why I’m waiting for it’s wings to grow so it will be happy

When I was a teenager, we had a quaker parrot and we were advised to clip their wings regularly. After some time, we started doing it ourselves. Now looking back, I so badly regret what we did to her. We'd throw a towel over her so we could wrap her up, and pull a wing out while she bit down on the towel. It stopped her from hurting us during the process. I loved my bird, and my interactions with her showed that she loved me back... but I so badly wish RU-vid and other sources of information were available when I was that age. Forcing her to interact with strangers, clipping her wings, not recognizing when she's upset... there are so many things I did wrong, and i hope now that she's gone, she can forgive me.
Hi, The *minimum* cage size for two budgies is generally recommended to be at least 30 inches in length, 18 inches in width, and 18 inches in height. This provides enough space for them to move around, exercise, and play comfortably
