Lara is not only a genuine synonym for Voice and Beauty but - at least as much - for Character and Courage. I remember a song from Gloria Gaynor, "I will survive"; Lara did, knowing the dark sides of life. Goes strong as a beautiful mind and humble human. We'd need more of her kind(ness) 💖🤝🙏👍
Lara did suffer quiet alot, which i had no idea of. i knew about the baby, partly since she spoke about it in an interview. that she had to perform while she knew that her baby wont survice, broke my heart. with all those loses and hardships, she never lost hersellf. i love that she is such a loving person. as a performer, in younger years, she might seem snobbish to some, to me, she was very expressive and so so talented. i love her since she brought out her first english song in europe/germany. and last year i listend to her albums exessively for months at work. mostly it was just one album that was on repeat, again and again for 8-10h straight, day in, day out for about 3 months. i never got sick of it, still dont. if only i had the chance to see her once in my life on stage. i even considered traveling to france for a show. Lara is am amazing artist with the voice of an angel and personality wise, she is an angel!

@@natti80 I know it's not the same, but at least your closer to Amsterdam. You could see G by the Glennis Grace in concert. She's no Lara Fabian, but Glennis Grace is one of few woman who can cover Whitney Houston and knock it out of the park.

This is hard to watch in some parts. I never knew all this happened Lara and I’ve been following her since 2015.. She’s such a gem. We should be quite grateful that this angel is STILL singing for us and sharing her life with us. I love you Lara. Great video Gabie. We could have add some additional situations where she once again proved her total dedication and respect to her fans (when she sang Ti Amo Cosi with Dimash or also in Bucarest if I remind well) but your video clearly exposes her absolute professionalism, she is a legend but is not acting as a capricious diva. She seems fragile but is not, she is a survivor. She went through so many things (love and friendship betrayals, unfair competition leading to promotion ban, suicidal and depressive thoughts, unexpected and sudden disparition of some of her best friends, heart attack due to eating disorder, liver cancer, being deaf for weeks due to ear plug accident, her mom’s mental disease, the loss of her baby, ….) … and yet she remains the same humble benevolent positive lady. What an inspiration and a model for all of us…
An incredible singer and watching her get older kind of sucks because, deep down, we know some of these people only come across once in your life time. Embodiment of perfection.

It doesn't make anyone a hero to be ruthless against one's self. To always feel obligated to others, only not to disappoint them, is unfortunately also turning against oneself. I wish she would take care of herself better 🙏
I don't know her personally, yet I feel she has great faith in a higher power. You don't have to belong to a religion to be a spiritual person. Lara Fabian must be an incredibly spiritual person to be able to do what she does. Due to a mishap during a medical treatment, I lost the ability to sing even though I could hear the music in my head - I couldn't sing what I heard. Laura's song "Wings" inspired me to take a "leap of faith" and take singing lessons not knowing what would happen. I can sing now, better than before. I have no idea where I will sing. But I am really. Merci beaucoup Lara.
You are 100% correct. Lara has stated several times she’s a woman of faith. She believes we’re not alone, and whatever she believes in- whatever the name- is bigger than us. She’s a strong woman who always fights her battle with her entire soul and heart

Her voice is very obviously hoarse and weaker in that clip lol. She dodged a lot of high notes that night. Her having a healthy technique is a constant. She worked to have a healthy technique. You don’t lose your technique just because you’re sick. Her amazing technique is what helped her sing that night
Why would she lie? For which reason? If you knew her, you would know that she is a very optimistic person and she has a great respect for her audience (I've never heard her singing out of tune). We can obviously hear that she can't deliver the song (je suis malade) as she usually does.
@@laratheringfabian great thanks tht's thé thing i didnt know. I thought a singer can loose his technique when he or she is sick n i also thought that its impossible to sing for Years and still sound good. I didnt know vocal technique is that great.
You can sing while sick if you have a crazy good technique. Because your singing voice should come frome the diaphragm, and not from the throat. So, that way, you don't strain your vocal folds too much. And you can also use mixed voice in order to hit the notes without belting, it also helps. Eating healthy, avoiding smoke and alcohol, anything that may cause acyd reflux.. There are always ways to help your voice when your health is not 100%. And hydrate!
