Your really good only thing I would recommend not even trying to sound like I know much but since you seem like a genuinely good person you could go a long way with a company shirt
5 years ago he was connecting google fonts now he's on his way to being the king of gutter cleaning on youtube. Spencer has a real compeetitor right now.
I can add one good tip that you overlooked but it has nothing to do directly with the door to door work. You should always ask new clients if they would like to be on a regular recurring schedule. I have found that approximately 50% of gutter clients say yes. Now you have tripled your value perhaps for each successful job you get.
Very informative and solid advice! I sold door-to-door, pest control around the Atlanta suburbs back in 2020. One of the best decisions of my life! Sales is a part of everything in your life, the sooner people realize that the better off they’ll be. Keep Going 💪🏼
Really nice insights here. You've got some unique points here and a great presentation. Thanks for those awesome door to door tips; remember most of communication is body language more so than the actual words!
Thanks for the feedback 😁 Might have to do a video on just the body language aspect. Like a mentor once taught me a few different ways of just shaking hands, each of which had different social subtext. Really interesting stuff
Amazing video John. More videos like this please! Love the tips and it takes a lot of the anxiety out of door knocking to watch you, and know how you handle different situations that may come up.
do you get any results from leaving the card? what does your card have, a promotion? I work for a pest control company and they believe that the cards are a waste of time, and in fact, let them have an escape to tell you" Right, just give me a card and I'll call you" instead of just buying on the spot. any thoughts?
I did this in my town, knocking on doors with super long grass, and someone called the police on me. The cop told me I had to quit, because I needed to purchase a license to knock on doors for $75.00 for the weekend, or he said he would "kick me out of town."
Oof. Lesson learned I guess. Just be glad you’re not the soul-dead loser who thought it would be fun to call the police on someone for trying to be of service 💀
Kick you out of town?!?! You should have gave him the John Rambo death stare and said "nothing is over, nothing. You just don't turn it off" and proceeded to knock on doors
I use the customer’s water. Haven’t had a problem with it yet. I don’t recall the price we agreed on just now, but it was in the neighborhood of $250-300
As walking in neighbourhoods i notched a lot of windows have cracked caulking . So im going to try and go sell some caulking as it helps eith drafts and insects entering home. Hopefully it sells itself. Also im putting rack on my 2014 lexus is250 and 24 ft ladder with another foldable smaller ladder , i also got magnet banner with my company , do you think it will be ok (reputation wise) because i dont really need truck for caulking and window cleaning..
Fuckin get some 🔥🔥🔥 Yeah I imagine you'll be fine. I find that most homeowners would rather hire a hustler making his own way than a company anyway. Ik it's been a couple months since you commented, would love to hear how it's going
