Alison, Do you ever ask for model releases ? and do you ever give something to the person in return for their time? ie: money. candy or a trinket?

I like your tip on having your camera prepared - as a street or travel photographer, it should be second nature to adjust your camera's iso or aperature as we move in & out of different environments.

Good tips...really like your photos, too. One thing I now have which I wish I had when visiting Italy (pre-covid) is a portable printer...would love to have given folks a print of photos I took of them. I think most folks would have liked that; it is something I will do on future trips (after covid) and will be well worth both the cost to me for the film plus the time to print from the camera or send the photo to phone and print from phone . Technology is great.

what do you do , when someone you've just photographed, wants a copy ( via e-mail . whatsapp etc ) of the picture ?

1:48 in the EU you have to ask/get permission to photograph them as well.
