Climbing is good because I can do my homework while playing. Can’t do that in Ground RB tho.

i like how this tutorial is for beginners but the gameplay in the background is mostly jet combat which is very much what a beginner would be facing

I completely agree. I've even mapped the exact same buttons, pitch by the way, to my mouse. But I use AWSD keys constantly while in combat, in conjunction with my mouse buttons. Pitching up with a button makes your turn so much sharper than using your mouse. That should be said

After 2 years I finally got an F-4 phantom… yeah now I need a new monitor

In props despite it not being recommended I'm on the deck depending on the map. If trees galore and/or mountains I'm always close enough to weave thru them if needed even in medium bombers. The moment a plane is on my six, I firewall the throttle and fly close enough to just miss the trees/mountains. Nobody I've saw so far can get low enough to chase me without crashing. And on the rare occasion I fly my Starfighter, I'm always supersonic and also on the deck. Most cannot keep up with the thrust to weight advantage I have and missiles easily defeated if I'm paying attention. Plus I use the same tactic as with props but also flying under low bridges. They mostly crash or pull above it enabling me to get behind for a gun kill. The reason I use those tactics is cause for wherever reason I always get put on teams that are like ducks in a row. I have W/S as pitch dn/up A/D as yaw left/right, and Q/E as roll left/right, respectively. That's what I'm used to from flying planes in KSP. Shift and Ctrl are throttle, works great

solid advice

Playing with joystick makes it much more simpler I think. Mine has a small thumb sized stick for the camera as well so it's really convenient. So far I'm only on the early stage American planes, which are not stable input wise, The tutorial planes fly better imo. But they get better up the tech tree.

The basics of the tips for yall incase you cant be bothered watching it all Tip 1: Climb to a good alt Tip 2: Do not turnfight until you learn your enemy Tip 3:Learn the state of your enemy and guess the enemies (The faster you close in on an enemy, the higher your energy is) Tip 4: [PC Specific] Use your keyboard and modify the pitch keys (Up and down) to improve manueverability in combination with the mouse Tip 5: Play with the team and support them

These controls changes really made the biggest impact of all, holy crap.

all it takes is one little thing that will make all the difference. someone explained targeting distance and lead my target more than the grey dot vs right on the dot.

If you don’t want to give up W and S for throttle, use the two side buttons on the mouse if you have them for pitch up and down.

I saw another vid and he said the same thing “make a key button for pitch up and down , but because im a console player (xbox) I don’t have many buttons and it hard to make a button for it , i need a help PLEASE

Would you recommend bombers in air RB or do you think they should be kept in SB?

Is there a way to respawn in realistic once all of your planes have been shot down?

Only thing I don't like about keyboard is the lack of variable control. Keys are on/off, whereas controller triggers/joysticks are variable. You can roll/pitch etc slowly or a lot.

I just downloaded it yesterday. How can I clib if I lose speed and then I'll fall back down? But still. Super tutorial😃

I just started air rb I’m in tier 4 using the p-47 I got in a little 2v1 situation last night and got my first kills in air rb I felt like a god when I made both planes over shoot on my third jink That or I play the spitfire LF premium in tier five I am admittedly shit with it even in arcade which I’m usually top of the leaderboard in so yeah i don’t have much to say about this one it’s kinda meh I shoulda just bought the A2D

Do most people use the pointer aim mode or do they use real controls? Pointer aim sounds easier but real controls is more aurhentic

I almost always staal out even with altitude advantege and then get killed in air realistic I don't have this problem in arcade is there anything i can do?

Can you do one for console players?

My biggest skill issue in air is my aim. I can only hit a plane if I'm right behind it and not more than 300 meters far

I can't even play the game right, I'm kinda good, but the bullets from my guns angle inwards then bounce off and go outwards, making in impossible for me to hit a target

+1 Keyboard and mouse for console. I instantly improved. Due to using the mouse for aiming leading.

I basically changed to Air RB on 1.0 BR (because i wanted MORE RESEARCH POINTS.)

Climbing is Good but being surrounded with a swarm of enemy plane aren't good anymore. I always get on shot by the enemy :(

how do i know when to shoot? i cant ever shoot anybody. i have gained a bit experience shooting first using arcade battles with those indicators but it usually takes me a lot of bullets to kill a person

Me an Intellectual: forntline bomber with napalm instantly go for a dive to reach the 2 furthest bases to bomb em as quick as possible

I'm suffering from a skill issue, i died in 6 matches in a row with no kills

is the f 16 line worth it because all the cool planes are in f15 line

So I've been playing this gamr.for a month and im still stuck at t3 because I'm having a hard time flying fw

but climbing takes an entire battle with prop planes. and rip your wings and flaps off at speeds higher than 400km

every match of air realitic I can't get one kill and get decimated

Jet bombers: Fly low, avoid as many enemies as possible. Prop bombers: Fly high, avoid enemies once again. Fighters: Climb, dive, repeat.

Ps4 has such a disadvantage on this game edit: Now I kinda regret saying ps4 had a disadvantage ONLY because I thought you couldn’t move your camera without moving your plane shortly after all I did was hold down the down arrow and just used my right joystick to look around I felt so stupid
