I have set up the old version of personus FaderPort (Classic) to work with Cubasis. It is great to have all basic “hot Keys” all at the fingertips on the one controller with real motorised fader :)
Great 👍 tips, Vortex! I see at the beginning of this video that you have many audio files inside Cubasis. What iPad Pro storage model do you use? Or do you use an external, fast, SSD? I have the 2020 iPad Pro with 256 GB, and only have 20 GB left at the moment. FL and Logic take up the most space.
I have my main sample library on a separate pc server that I access via the files app or sample crate over the wifi, and then I have my Cubasis Media Bay library on the IPad with sounds that I know I'll be using in most projects, and so I have a refurb 2018 1TB :)
Any thoughts on Vatanator Pro. You turned me on to Cubasis 3 gang ( freeze yo tracks!). Vatanator Pro has a pretty minimal ui and auv3 hosting capabilities. Otherwise looks similar to beat maker 3. I’m curious if the minimal ui helps with cpu and ram usage with a bunch of plugins. Perhaps a good video idea, maybe compare all the popular auv3 hosts. Anyway love the channel.
Hey docnova! Wow never heard of the DAW until you mentioned it. The DAW UI is really not what takes up cpu so much as the the actual DSP that the plugins create.
@@MobileMusicPro I loaded up 4 pockets progressions in Cubasis and it worked so easily and recorded Midi with no problems. I was like ok. Let’s do it! 💪🏾
