Such a great analysis and summary of kroos' style. Especially how he positions himself is outstanding on top of his precision and accuracy. It's often overlooked how the opposition hardly ever gets to pressure him.
Thanks for the great analysis. Stats won't show this and that's why everyone are like, this one is better than kroos and that one is better than Kroos. But you have to understand football beyond stats to understand the greatness of Kroos. I would definitely have Kroos in my team over those fan favourite midfielders in my team, simply because he improves the team and players around him, make his teammates' job easy. Since the Ronaldo join Real Madrid in around 2009, before the arrival of Kroos RM won 1 league and 1 UCL. After his arrival, they have won 5 UCL and 4 leagues and countless other trophies. Although definitely he is not alone and football is a team game, But He definitely improved RM and had significant contribution. Fans don't understand this. Football is a 90 minutes game and Kroos held RM most of the time whem opposition attacks. He passed around balls just to absorb pressure. And later in the game RM attacks tired legs of opposition. That's the template of late.
