Hello, after watching this video. I took the test for both Transcription Hub and Dictate Express. I took the test for Transcription Hub about a week ago and and Dictate Express 4 days ago. Both companies have not responded. Do these companies not respond if you fail the test? I believe I did fairly well on the test for Dictate Express.
@@jamespark1986 Hello! Usually they will get back to you. My guess is they have received a lot of applicants so they are taking their time in their response back! In the mean time, try applying to Scribie!
@@JenniferMarieVO From Arabic to English and it's audio-to-text work. They rarely do text-to-text translation work, English to other language work, or direct transcription in non-English languages. Thank you for all your efforts!!
Thank you for your videos. It helps a lot. I know that a lot of your subscribers felt also the same. The best thing about your videos is that you have so much relevant information when you speak, and you sound really positive . Unlike other videos where the title is catchy, but the actual video is just going around like they talk too much, they say much in the intro but in the end, it's meaningless. Thanks to your patience. :)
Thank you so very much for all the work you have put into comparing all the different transcription companies and for going into great detail about applying for jobs. I took the test for Verbit last March. Since I haven't heard back from them, I emailed them mid-May to follow-up with the application. I received an email the following day saying that due to the number of applications, checking the exams might take them months. Thank you for your helpful videos, Jennifer.
I spent so long on my Verbit application. Over an hour perfecting it. And I also got an email instantly saying that I failed. It was so frustrating because I spent so long on the test 😠
I got in but would not recommend it unless you getting in as a reviewer. If you just going to be an editor, find another transcription site. They pay really low for hours of work and then give you bad ratings. I honestly stopped taking jobs cause I value my sanity.
I am also with Verbit. I love the work. Very interesting jobs coming through. You just have to make sure about what type of file you have when you do the test. I had a clean red file.
Hi. Took the Verbit test a week ago, still waiting for their response. Sent my application to Scribie & as you've said tests are currently not available, so I have been spending time on their site practicing. I have watched your review on Scribie and you have recommended it for beginners. Am I the only beginner who finds the audio they provide for practicing, challenging? You have a very lovely speaking voice. Thank you for this video. I will definitely look into a couple of these suggestions as I am not interested in going back to a crowded office any time soon. I would love to know who does your captions, though, because I noticed a lot of typos and even a right/write issue. I have the kind of eyes that always zero in on typos.

I passed the Verbit test. I submitted several audios with no feedback and then was told at the end of my first day my quality was sub-par and I would not be paid and that I could not do any further work. I didn't get any other feedback that would have helped me understand what I did wrong. I basically viewed it as a scam to get work from someone for free. I've been a freelance transcriptionist for over a decade and have worked for several companies with 98% accuracy or higher and have always gotten good reviews - or at least decent feedback to help me improve.

I'm from Pakistan and I want to be a professional transcriptionist, although I'm still learning about it, the problem for me and other fellow Pakistanis is that we can't apply for these transcription jobs on these websites because they pay their transcriptionists via Paypal, and Paypal does not operate in Pakistan, if you know any sites that pay their transcriptionists through Payoneer or other transaction companies, please do recommend, I'd really appreciate it, thank you.

This is just information about QA World that they do not have calls or jobs available for new registrations. I get registered like 4 days ago, and I also connected to slack community and read many comments which were showing non-availability of calls. This is highly frustrating for newcomers. And if any of the newbies ask for help to SCC members they straight forward give a warning for account suspension from slack and from QA World. This is frustrating. Please make comment on this and if You find it genuine please share this in your next video for others. Thanks.

I have been working as a medical scribe for the past 1 year; however, I only work 3 days a week and I would like to earn some extra money by doing medical transcription online. I researched online and was unable to find any trusted source (More like they do not trust me if I will be compliant with HIPAA compliance or not) that I can work with remotely. Thanks in advance. You didn't say how much these companies pay like you did in your other video. The other thing I don't understand is how transcription can sometimes pay so low that it is under minimum wage in the US. How are they getting away with this?
I have created an account for Transcription Hub and am having trouble accessing the test file. It brings up a message saying it didn't work out for some reason, and if it's a flunk, it might work if you refresh the page. I emailed them and am waiting for them to get back to me.
I passed the test on verbit working currently on transcription tasks 50 cint/minute and if I passed specific conditions I will become a reviewer in less than a month then they will pay me double
