Poor Scar. Reminds me of a cat that wasn’t quite mine when I was a teenager. Called him Striker, since he always swiped at my ankles when I turned away from him. Still amazed he let me pet him and cut out the matter clumps in his fur. He got hit by a car, I think. Found him halfway into my back porch. I stayed with him until he passed, aside from IMing a vet friend who said there wasn’t any way to help him. Gonna go cry now.

oh my god as soon as the first story mentioned cats, I was like nope, skipping, I can’t bear to hear any potential harm against those poor kitties

Scar the cat was bringing her gifts. My cats don't leave me mice, they bring in sticks. Most days I wake up to 3 or 4 sticks in my living room. I have collected them for kindling. Very helpful. 😌

My dog gave us a baby rabbit once, only thing was he forgot to kill it and then brought it inside. So we spent 20 minutes chasing a baby rabbit and trying to get it outside

I lived in East Texas during the time of the Boggie Creek Monster. My brother and a couple of our friends went camping. Since we had seen the movie a week before our camping trip we were freaked out being in the woods. We set up our camp site and settled down for the night. After eating and telling ghost stories around the campfire we all laid down in our tents and drifted off to sleep. We were between 8 and 10 years old and my brother's friend had older siblings. They would normally mess with us while we were camping. About 2 in the morning we began hearing noises that were abnormal. Loud screaming and large branches being snapped in to. This went on for about an hour it was getting closer and closer. I got tired of these guys messing with us I grabbed my .22 rifle and stepped out of the tent. I expected to see Danny's brother's standing there. I was standing 20 feet from a thing that had to be 8' tall!! I raised the rifle and fired three times and I could hear the bullets hit the animal. It screamed loudly and ran off. We took the opportunity to get the hell out of there. We ran the 2 miles home without slowing down. When our Dad went back with us the next day our tents and all of our camping equipment was shredded up. There were huge foot prints all around. There was some red liquid around the camp site. This story is true and I have never forget it in the 47 years since!!!

Makes me shake my head hearing about people who don’t go into the woods or on camping trips prepared with even the basics. Going out into a remote area and relying solely on the off chance you trap small game or catch a fish is ridiculous, stupid and could easily be a death sentence. Who only brings one small flashlight camping?? If you’re gonna go out in the woods you need to be prepared.

I'd appreciate a warning when there's gruesome animal stories. Has been stuck in my head for days now.
