Solid video! I actually didn't realize exfoliation helped with bacteria buildup! Just be careful with the silicone exfoliating pads for two reasons. The deep ones can be harder to clean and hold water for too long and end up a mildewy mess. This applies to all silicone products you don't keep thoroughly clean and dry after each use (especially if you have a silicone mat in your tub). The second reason to be careful is that we tend to get a little rough with things that seem too gentle on our skin because we think abrasion is more helpful than what it is. Don't try to scrub your skin off every time you get in the bathtub, especially not your face, armpits, or intimate areas! Anywhere where your skin is thin and/or where you have mucous membranes should generally be treated with care that you (should) be using for your face otherwise you can end up with major skin irritation.
Hey thanks for all those helpful tips. I noticed that you've switched the face cleaning routine and change all the products also. I still have the CeraVe face wash exfoliating soap.
The cerave face wash, as well as the Routine is still a very good one, the only difference between the routines are that they’re for different effects. One is for glass skin , and the other is for getting clear skin. So whichever routine suits you better you can choose to use.
