today marks 4 months of growing my hair out, I've been strict with my hair care routine and you really put me on to good practices, I cant wait to drop my 1 year hair journey 😁
@@ramos5117 at that time it was 3cm, although at this moment less than 2 months later my hair is now 6cm, invest in some type of scalp oil man, it really works
I've watched you in the beginning of my growth. I've been growing since July of last year and it's growing at a fast pace. One pointer I got from you is deep conditioning after I take down my braids and wash. Mane n tail is an excellent shampoo and conditioner..... Thank you for helping my hair growth.
I think my hair grows slower than your projected timeline. I’m not able to get braids until I’ve at least grown it out for over a year. 3-4 years ago my hair grew much faster
00:01 Understanding the hairstyle timeline is crucial. 00:50 Having waves is crucial for clean hair growth 01:43 Avoid the awkward hair growth stage 02:41 Implement the famous Cur routine for healthy hair growth and defined curls. 03:33 7 to 10 month stage is exciting for hairstyling 04:22 Avoid awkward hair growth stage by styling early 05:21 Avoid awkward hair growth stages 06:11 Transition from faded side taper to hardline taper for better hair growth
Been growing my hair for 12 years I miss my hair when it was your length the journey I appreciate im past my waistline now miss the no respect to the neck like Yours 😂😢 embrace it 💪🏿
Mane I got my hair braided for the first time ever..... That was definitely a painful experience. I definitely skipped all of this and thugged it out for 7 to 8 months straight 😂😂😂
Currently on month 3 and I’m walking around with a bandana 🤣🤣🤣 I’m out here looking crazy but I been deep conditioning for the last 2 weeks and using my castor oil going for stitch braids in a year thanks king bril.
Good thing about me is that my hair grows super fast(I would say perhaps I’m at about 2 months length or so?), so by the end of July I should be all set tbh
Hell yeah 😂😂😂😂😂 I been growing my hair for a year and couple months the first year I kept a hat on now my shit long so I don’t gotta wear a hat 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Im at that stage right now, it seems like my hair get stuck at short afro but it grows back to the same length after I trim it down, using the same routine that allowed my hair to grow back to that same length
Trimmed my hair after going it for 18 months, and it was a journey but now I’m growing out the sides and back from having a taper, so hopefully things work out
I got mixed hair black white and indian hair i’m 1/half months in from a 2 gaurd open and my hair already down to the middle of my forehead if i pull it, i had waves for the first 3 weeks and i js got tierd of them and my hair grew hella fast so i decided just to pick the waves out and js stick with my curls i’m on to it with my hair care i recommend doing these few things and it will help your hair grow a lot healthier and faster , oil 6 times a week 3 days of the week strawberry rosemary oil 3 days coconut oil, the amount of days you put oil in strictly depends on your hair type for me i’m cb - 4a when my hair gets long, have a conditioner that’s for YOUR age if your a teen or kid you shouldn’t be using conditioners for adults. and should be using conditioners for YOUR hair type i also apply rose water in my hair after my showers cause it helps your hair grow faster and more healthy and also as most of u know peoples hair grows differently from everyone else, some fast some slow so don’t be discouraged if your hair not growing as fast as someone else’s

I... Love you... this video made so much since and had so much truth... but I watched it too late lmfao... Now Im gon be walking round with braids in my curly hair phase... with my big ass forehead, braids stopping at the neck... sooo yup...
Been growing my hair for 2 years and it’s only at eyebrows length. The back also grows ways shorter than the front. I moisturize daily and I wash once a week when my hair isn’t in protective styles. I make sure not to lay on it and wear a bonnet but it’s still really short. (2 years in July)
What if you have growing out your sides and back taper, and you’re trying to the length all round? What would I tell my barber? since I’m trying to keep my length all around.
Question: I let my hair texture set the style. However with gradual growth, it is frequently tangled (at least every 2-3 days it badly tangled). I usually wet it with watered down moisturizer/softener, shake and go. How often should I untangle my hair?
I think afro picks both plastic and metal are bad for the hair. when I started strictly using wide tooth combs my hair grew slightly more and was noticeably less nappy
the wide tooth comb is cool but it wont detangle your hair as well as the thinner ones. More important than the tooth size is your hair dampness, not dry hair should get picked/combed
I’m bout to grow my hair back out again I like the side and back tapers but I’m at the wave stage I’m bout to cut it even and try not to get tapers let it grow back out
yo ive been growing my hair for 8 months but i only found your channel now ive been washing my hair and conditioning only started deeping conditiongin 2 months ago do you think i have enough hair for 2 strand twists?
I’m also at 8 months get cornrows that’s what imma get then when I’m at month 12 then imma get twists and the cornrows are also gonna speed up growth a lil that’s what you should do gang👍💯
I'm currently near like the 2-3 month range, my afro hair is very short probably around 1 inch. If i want to grow my hair to a larger afro but want it to have some style to it. Are mid tapers safe for hair growth in the long run?
@@KingBril yo bri im at 5 months and last year i had a full set of hair i restarted due to a big front taper im currently at corn rows and already made the front taper line and sides i haven't cut them i just lined them up and left them so when i due eventually cut them they line up better is this necessarily bad? my heir grows really fast
This is a lie. Initially, you need to cut your hair all the way off. If you start off with waves when you decide to actually let your hair stick up, that's why people have that 1 inch front taper. No temp fade, either. Get a 1 cut all over and just let the shit grow.
