It appears that checking your assets to see who's living there was dropped as a service. I knew a girl that had an Aussie boyfriend that was married in his country. He maintained an apartment in BKK because he traveled there on business once a month. She had a son from another relationship who was living in the apartment also. The guy finally figured it out and made an unannounced early arrival one time and found she was living there with her son AND his father. When sugar daddy was in town for the week Thai boyfriend stayed with his friend. Needless to say Aussie sugar daddy cut her off real fast.

Some have said that them men that go to Thailand are playing Checkers and the girls (all of them) are playing Chess. Remember, they grew up watching their mothers/grandmothers/aunts handle men in a male "dominated" culture. The truth is, THEY are playing Three-dimensional Chess while making YOU think that you are playing Chess and that THEY are only playing Checkers.
there is a concept in Asian culture called "Thick Face, Black Heart"...Robert Greene lightly touches on it in The 48 Laws of Power. This is how men fall for these scams. The women act sweet and know exactly what to say....while they have one hand in your pocket. Not every Thai woman are like that..... but the vast majority that you and I will meet know the game.
Peter, just one question if I may? What are the visa requirements for UK citizens entering Thailand? Some sites are saying 2000baht, some say visa waiver, so slightly confusing - travelling in under two weeks, so want to have this at least sorted! Thanks in advance

Great stories as always. Re: Story No.1, I previously lived in SG for 10 years and the bar he's referring to is the Ipanema World Music Bar - probably the best in the 4 Floors with a decent band. Unfortunately, the SG gov't shut down the 4 Floors during the last year which no doubt came as a shock to many. However, FYI -the Ipanema re-located to Cecil Street in the financial district and re-opened a few months ago.
Hi Peter, through many distractions I've failed to plan for my retirement however at pension age and selling one property I own plus renting out another, I should be able to live comfortably. My question is; How old is 'Too old' to retire in Thailand?
I don't think there is an age limit I think the problem is your health basically if you're healthy you're fine if you have a lot of medication or health problems and it could be a problem living here because expensive

You bring back a bar girl to your country thinking it will be as wonderful as it was in Thailand but its not the same. Its more than the girls that make Thailand a great place
Paul, They change and that's going to happen to some extent anyway. The biggest issue is when they make friends locally with others from their own country that have been living abroad for a while. Those friends will feel they must teach them the ropes good or bad and they start picking up their bad habits or bad behavior. I was married to a Flip for 14 years. Couldn't stand her at some point and couldn't get rid of her fast enough. She made friends with all the local Flips and pretty soon she was into gambling, drinking and lying just like them. Wanna keep them unchanged then keep them away from their own kind is what I tell guys. That goes for Thai girls also.

I bet that even if you asked her to wear a certain coloured shirt and hold up a paper with a number of your request outside her home and then take a picture to send to you regularly. She will find a way around that. 😋

Singapore, the first I was there in 1964 then it was difficult to meet a to a bar girl / freelancer, the taxi driver went all over the place before I was lucky enough to find one (the taxi driver suggested a boy girl).don't
