Tip: I always have a cardholder for my bankcard. Always hold it in your hand, so you do have to slide your bankcard back in and put it away. In this way you can never forget it. And protect your card as well!! Use this for decades and works good!!!

I use to travel to Bali frequently before I discovered Thailand more than 10 years ago. I witnessed many Western women with Indonesian/Balinese men. I loved seeing Indonesian women sitting in bars, with five different mobile phones, all different shapes and colours - one for each of their sponsors, so there would be no confusion, when answering their calls. I have heard of this urban myth too - I thought it use to me a message written in lipstick on the bathroom mirror?

Thanks for the stories Peter.tip top stuff and thank you for the people that sent them in.on the last story I went to thailand with a friend/friends.my first trip to thailand over 18 years ago now I went with four mates and had a great time but I ended up trying to organize everything days out.meeting up times were to go ect /ect .about three months time I went on my own and was very nervous but as Peter said you are only on your own if you want to be.it ended up being the best trip even and I only needed to plan my own things what and when I wanted to do and met so many great people that still from today still chat to and meet up together in thailand 🇹🇭 stay safe all the best damon 👍🏼

I’ve lived here 6 years and I still leave my ATM card in the machine. Earlier this year, 2x in one month. I now use the cardless withdrawal and all is good.

Enjoyed story #3 from a woman's perspective. I have heard of ladies getting scammed as well abroad and it happens more than we think. Story #5 when traveling with others it is sometimes setbacks especially if you're short on funds, but you also feel safer with someone you know so you all can look after one another. Peter I have been in Thailand since 2007, going back to the states for an average of five months and the other seven in Thailand. I loved having the elephants come to my house to be fed. The handlers selling bags of sugar cane the size of french fries, or chips as the English would say. I had one that would come from the time she was big enough to walk and they have great memories. I would buy them watermelons or a stock of bananas so they loved me. I was sad when the govt made it illegal to come into the neighborhoods so haven't seen my elephants for several years and really miss them. I also wonder what has happened to them. Gary

Good stories Peter as usual! As a Canadian, I know what that girl saying. Well for women sex tourism in Africa is in Ethiopia when there's no war or in Kenya. West is Nigeria. But here close to us Jamaica where North Americans go, Japanese & western Europeans. The majority are British/German. But where we stayed to be very frugal so we can spend more on goods we stayed in a so-so small motel. We get a couple Jap girls then we tasted some local chocolate flavours. We were 25-26 at the time. I think 1 girl wasn't 18 cause she constantly bought it up. She was maybe 16-17. So still the legal age. (Our law says under 16 is a minor) But the next door to us was a Canadian girl from Sault Ste. Marie. She was mixed but she looked native (native Amerindian) She was cute about 20-22 & when she was pausing from having loud sex she was always in our room naked hanging out. (we never had sex with her cause she told us what and why she is there in the first 10 minutes) Well yes, you guessed it. But she was twisted as is this story, cause she was loved that she was pimped out by 3 guys who she paid well and for sex too but to get her clients the money went to the 3 pimps. She was just like a nymphomaniac. Every time she was over in our room number of times she wanted sex from us too and always wanted to prove how good she is giving BJ. She also said she doesn't use condoms so even her mouth couldn't be clean. We had 1 bad rainy day and stayed in the motel to relax and sober up from the constant partying. (that night she played Jenny from Forrest Gump so she said she is scared and wanted to stay under the blanket till the morning). I had a little hangover and was tired too from the beach, partying and the nightly sex. As we know the water is not so good there and warm so the ice could be dangerous due to that hep. disease, so we drink Heineken instead of water. Back then bottled water wasn't readily available. (31years ago in 92) We counted 7 guys on that day as she told us it was her slow day. We just looked at each other with my friend. OMG. But then it wasn't enough for her she asked to be arranged to get raped. 6 guys right after each other before and after the 3 pimps of hers too. Did I mention that she loved to be very loud and even told the staff so nobody calls the cops? Well, this is how we met her at the hotel as we walked in and told us ahead. We said sure whatever. The next morning we didn't invite her for breakfast. We figured she had a lot of local natural juice if you know what I mean. A nice cute good mannered girl just travelled there by herself for just that cause she wasn't going to the beach or any other place. She was there for 4 weeks just 1 day earlier she went back than us. Thinking back, I never ever in my life have I ever known a girl like that disgusting, but she got her wish as we did too. But who am I to judge since we doing almost the same but with a lot of alcohol and Gunja. We had maybe 3 times like 2 girls for each of us but mostly just one a day or night. But we went to the beach different clubs and restaurants, climbed Dunn's River Falls in Ocho Rios Jamaica, Negril etc. But she spent 4 weeks on her back in the Motel. She told us straight from the airport to the airport & just in the motel the whole time. So there is a lot more nastiness & dirt to the story but it's too long to write it here and I just remembered this as you read the story of that Canadian girl's story.

First story, seems he made all the mistakes himself and being absent minded is one's own fault.

That's the biggest danger with using Thai ATMs,they dispense the cash before returning the card, happened to me in my first visit to Phuket, luckily I had a backup card and never got caught out since.

Taking about ATMs in Thailand I have left my card in the machine And had to pay around £4 To get it replaced by my Thai bank In the UK I was waiting to use the ATM and the people in front of me took their card out and walked off without their money I shouted out to them and they where really happy to get their wages

The girls in Thermae are quite picky. They prefer the 333 customers over falangs.

I was just reading a yahoo news story titled "Meet the ‘elite’ couples breeding to save mankind"... they should have done the story on Fake Ed and that bar girl that gave him the clap...

For the last story where the gentleman had run out of money in his friend had to keep spending money on him, it's always better from my experience to travel alone and meet up with friends there as some individuals do not calculate what they will need for their travel and do not set an emergency fund in case they go overboard.

Hi Peter unfortunately the elephant going around the bars is still going on in udon thani, they bring the young elephant around most evenings with the hook in the ear to guide it, there are still ferlang still feeding and taking photographs it's disgracefull you can tell the elephant is stressed out I think they feed the elephant mango , there was a drunk Thai man shouting outside a bar the owner called the police who eventually came as they told the drunk to leave the 4 men and the elephant walked by, a felang said is that not an illegal to walk that elephant in the streets of Thailand, the police ignored it got in there police car and drove off, so in 2023 it's still happening sadly

Peter...in most stories you always mention that when the visitor is at the airport returning home...there are always tears sometimes from both the lady & the visitor. I assume that since most visitors fall in love...they're genuine when they shed tears in saying Bye...I want to ask...On the side of the ladies,are those tears genuine or it's part of their acting up the girlfriend role?

Story 1. - what were this guy/man expectations pay and receive love ? Prob if he put his shoes in these girls life will understand that not all farang are nice or treat as person rather prostitute. Maybe with a little less arrogance and more of respect and polite manner could get a little more .
