I hope soon in our generation lifetime that a cure will come out for Genital Herpes as we all don’t deserve to suffer in silence with these nasty outbreaks how it effects our daily life it hasn’t got to do how careful we are with partners or multiple people we have it’s all to do with direct skin to skin contact and how hygiene we are

Yup but people just assume that catching herpes is bc the person was being promiscuous like I was with one guy and still caught it from him. I advice people not to be so judgmental abt the disease

Exactly where I’m at. I don’t sleep around, very loyal to one guy I started talking to/sleeping with, and he doesn’t show symptoms or mentions having it. I feel like I got it from someone else before and it was dormant in my system; I had my first outbreak, when I got Covid, bc my immune system was so low

I have one serious question. I'm a male and I got these cold sores type ulcers on my genital inner foreskin and when i consulted the doctor he said i have herpes and gave me medicines for it. But I never had any intercourse with anyone, i didn't even share saliva (kiss) or even come in contact with random peoples as I'm a student so i don't go out of my home often. So how did I get this stuff it's so painful on my foreskin. Also i want to add one thing that i am already suffering from phimosis.

Sounds more like candida infection. Go to doctor they can usually visually recognize herpes. if not they can do bloodtest and urine test for all STD including Herpes to exclude those . if everything comes out negative it is most likely a Candida balanitis infection which isnt a STD. Candida = a yeast infection.

What is the best way to get Herpes without having intercourse? My State recently passed a law allowing Herpe Virus customers to recieve Monthly disability payments. I still plan on working, just looking to add a bit of extra income to the household. I'm married so intercourse is not an option. Thx

Im not sure i even have herpes ...Ive not seen any blisters...i got like sores but never any blisters. Or itching. Or ooze. Just sores around the base of my shaft. That only really hurt cause of agitated skin do to the hair...i really need to get checked but seeing a doctor has been so difficult
