Such good counsel. I'm 62 divorced and have been working in singleness for over a year. Though I've suffered greatly from being with the wrong women. I have learn so very much about myself. And here i am by the grace of God becoming whole. Your videos have been a blessing.

There is so much to be said for doing things God's way. It aligns with the Godly boundaries that are meant to protect both a man and a woman. After a 31 yr. marriage (virgin bride at 18) I found myself back in the dating world. I didn't date for the 1st 5 yrs. after, just to allow God and allow myself to find healing first. When I did get out there it was like entering a "meat market"....it felt unsafe and many times I felt "slimed!" It was never my intention to make any man feel unduly rejected. I ran into alot of duality. Men (& women as well), knew "christianese" enough to make it sound like they were accountable to a Holy God. But out of church, the walk was not much different than the world. God told me that I did not have to align with any other 'version' of LOVE, than HIS! That's where I was protected and safe. Until a women feels safe, she will not fully open up. Especially when disrespectful behavior is in play. A man, truly after God's Heart, a woman after God's Heart, will get this.

I was speaking to my Indian collegue today...I was asking him about percentage of divorces in India and he told me that percentage of divorces is 3%. Keep in mind that there is 1 billion of Indians.He also told me that they dont practice sex before marriage,and also that dot on women forhead that they wear means that she is married. I was very impressed by it,some would say thats conservative or whatever,but I respect them for it so much.😁They really respect marriage,I was wooooooow.

Thank you for spending time to explain the heart of men. Some of us had neglectful fathers and they didn't impart any understanding. The reveal of if a man does all things in private he is only interested in sex explained a lot. An old boy friend now married, spends alot of time with women in text, on the phone after his wife is asleep, online, or even in person without her knowledge or consent. He kept wanting Pictures, which I never sent. I said, you know how i look.: I finally stopped all conversation. it felt unclean

I met a woman recently, and didn't act like I should have. I really like her and wanted to get to know her as fast as possible. So I asked her out when I saw her the next time. I kind off caught her off guard and it really surprised her. She basically said, she has to say now for now, because she doesn't know me really. Which shes of course right about. But she also said that its not a no never. And she thinks we'll get to better know each other in the next months anyways, but can't say yes right now. Well, and she complimented my looks😅. So what I'm trying to say is that I know now that I really went about it the wrong way, thinking about it now. I really want to keep pursuing her, or start it in a way that god likes now, since I do have a good feeling about her and the fact that and how she said no definitely taught me some things about her and also about me. I want to add that I really have the desire in general to be the best possible husband I can be and to really stay pure. Especially since I met her. But i want to take that motivation and turn it in a way that I don't do it for her but for god. I've had a pornographie problem, and i don't want to bring it into a relationship again. I have been free for a month now, pushing any bad thought away and it wasn't even difficult honestly. I really feel free even though i know that is not a long time. Anyways I just wanna go about this in a godly way now, that is respecting her space and honoring god. Whether it'll work out as I like or not.

Thank you for saying @ 4:33 that the women are sleeping around too. There is a real influence of hate and disapproval in the church toward men. I don't see in scripture that women are not accountable to Jesus for their words or actions. I don't find chauvinism or feminism supported in scripture.

Idk if I just am giving up or burnt out on so much unwanted physical objectifying me as a woman or what. I guess I’m in long term deep thought mode about the whole idea of sexual desire being such a base thing. How it so often just makes nothing but trouble and making life so extra complicated. Maybe I just want to go run my errands and take myself out to eat just once without being harassed or looked up and down lustfully or hit on or being asked how is it that I’m still single? And I don’t dress provocatively or anything at all. Yet here we go again every time I leave the house. 🙄🙄 Well you know. Me thinks it’s Bcuz I’m up to my neck with disgust with about 98% of it. I sometimes feel like the paparazzi is just always after me. And truly I don’t think I’m even all that “pretty” but I still get this stuff far too much. There is too much hyper vigilance around motives. Yes, God is to be honored above all earthly relationships, but this extreme and constant self analysis seems over the top. I also see no evidence in scripture to support “the one God has for me”. In a sense it subverts personal responsibility and the idea that love is a choice long term. We are free to choose wisely and marry another believer. No matter how great they are or aren’t…. They become “the one” once you choose. Even the best choice will involve struggle.

Brother, you totally got your content and topic mixed up. You are supposed to talk about "pursuing" but what you are talking about is "dating and courtship". Pursuing is more synonymous with "unrequited love" where one party is trying to get the other party to reciprocate their love. On the other hand, dating and courtship is a step taken based on mutual agreement by both parties to see if marriage is advisable. While the example of Boaz and Ruth is suitable for people in courtship, it's unapplicable to a guy or girl trying to decide if he/she should chase after/pursue a love interest. A more appropriate example would be Solomon and the Shulamite maiden, where Solomon pursues the lady with gifts, with romantic poetic songs etc but his love was not reciprocated.

Most women back in the old days were approachable at that time since they were very old fashioned and real ladies, which made love at that time very easy to find. What in the world happened to these very psycho women today? Feminism and narcissism in women today is at an all time high now.
