I'll admit, I'm a McCarthy truther BUT, I do hope the Vikes maintain the slow approach with him. Seems like he has all the intangibles - I trust KOC/McCown to work out the rest.

I find it funny that vikings fans have essentially been ignoring Wes Philips these days, although I think it is warranted (the DUI). I personally hope McCown takes over for Wes, sooner the better IMO.

Slow ride, take it easy, jj is 21. Look back on every rookie to start right away, the vast majority of rookies busting when forced to start right away on bad teams with not alot of talent. Imo

I think Darnold’s failures have been more related to on field decision making/ turnovers. Not coaching.

That doesn’t make sense, if Darnold is playing that bad they will throw JJ in there to get some experience. The only way Darnold starts every game is if he’s absolutely balling out and the Vikings have a winning record

I think the obvious one, god forbid, is Darnold gets injured (Bless all the knees and heads!). I would guess Training camp is going to make a huge difference in who is QB#2 (Mullens or McCarthy).
