hey! i’ve had hamsters for a little while and i’ve convinced my parents to get a bigger cage but unfortunately i don’t have a job so it’s a bin cage. biggie cheese (my current hamster) has always been a chubby dwarf hamster. my friend gave him to me as she could not care for him. i’ve had him for a year so who knows if he’s older bc he was pretty fat when i got him. i just recently started building victoria rachel’s diy cage. i unfortunately thought it was best to cancel the building bc biggie cheese has been acting so weird. he licks this one corner of his cage and seems like he wants to escape. he has lots of toys and fluff. i thought it was best to cancel the cage bc i didn’t know if he was gonna live much longer and i was gonna take a break from hamsters for a while so i didn’t wanna spend a lot of money for a one time thing. he’s lost some weight and im wondering if i should get a better cage again
