my 4 year old sister threw our hamster against the wall....she didn't die thankfully, but it scared me to death

I had a hamster. My dad was cleaning his cage while I was at school. But my dad didn't take him out of his cage. For some reason my dad used a vacuum and the hamster got sucked up. My dad put the dead body back in the cage. When I got back, he wasn't moving and I realized he died. I was in 1st grade at the time. My dad told me he was too fat and when he was on his wheel, he got a heart attack. The hamster's name was Chim-Chim. One like= One less Vacuum Hamster Edit: I'm still getting notifications from this three year old comment Jesus Christ Edit 2: It’s been four years later and I still remember this comment occasionally in the middle of the night

I had a hamster and loved him so much. He was a lil russian dwarf hamster and he was white so I called him MC hammy. It was Easter Day. I got out of the shower and looked into his cage. He was sitting in the doorway of his wooden cottage. He loved scriches behind his ears so I gave him one and he didn’t move. I picked him up and saw he was barely moving. I started screaming and my dad came up and knew immediately. He told me that he was a great hamster and was very old. I came downstairs with him in my hands, sat on the couch and held him. I waited. About 45 minutes later, he had taken his last breath. The last month before this, he had been dealing with some health issues and I knew it was coming. My mum wasn’t even there to comfort me bc she was at work. I was devastated. The next day I went to a garden centre and got a ceramic pot and painted it with him on it and his name and a bunch of stuff he liked. Then we wrapped him up in tissue, put some soil in it, a layer of his bedding, his body in the tissue, more of his bedding and more soil. We planted tulips and they have flowered. Really miss you buddy. Fly high 🕊️💔

I got a little black gerbil (named Noire) last Christmas, and Squeaks kind of reminds me of her. Noire absolutely LOVES sunflower seeds and every night she scurries about, runs on her wheel and makes little tunnels. Because it’s not like she already has a tunnel

I had 2 hamsters... for some reason, i just woke up to one... missing it's head... I.. I don't even want to know what happened that night.

I got a hamster called buddy and looked just like yours! He escaped too but got back in his cage all by himself when we weren't looking! It's very similar to your story! :D

When I was about 9, my mom got my brother's and I a hamster named Henry. When Henry died two years later, my mom told us that she gave Henry to another owner. Also, at the time, we had 5 cats. One of the cats, named Frank, loved to sit on Henry's cage, and scream at him. It made sense because Frank was a orange tabby with a white tuxedo, but it scared poor Henry to death.

My Hamster crawled into a washing machine Rip pepper It was a dwarf hamster I had 2 one called salt and one called pepper Salt had a white stripe down the middle and pepper had a dark grey stripe I miss them :(

When I was in Kindergarten and 1st Grade, our teacher got two gerbils as classroom pets. At first, they got along well and cuddled together, but they eventually started fighting and had to be separated. The teacher tried to reintroduce them, but they chased each other around the cage and one of them bit her finger when she tried to separate them.

I got a Dwarf hamster (Just like the three amigos) I named it Milky. (Due to its milk-like color) It had food and water and it STILL has not yet eaten its food from its food litter. And it screamed A LOT.

I had 2 hamsters. One is playfull. Funny and nice. The other is so introvert she doesn’t want to be picked up. They won’t bite you anymore until theyre like 1 year old(40 hamster years)

When I had my hamster, I love them a lot. I name him or she it was the best time until we lost her and then yeah, we never saw her ever again

I only ever had two hamsters both female. Their names were Peaches and Cream cause one was orange and white and the other was pure white. And they both lived for a year and a half before passing away peacefully. I was like 6 so I don’t remember if there were any shenanigans but I did love them quite a lot.

The tombstones that he draws always say “rip in peace” ( Rest In Peace in peace)

I had 2 hamsters in separate cages as a kid. A boy and a girl. One day the girl got out and I couldn't find her. Didn't have time to find her since I had to go to school so I made one of those pitfall traps like you did. Didn't work either. ANYWAY. When I got home from school idk how but the boy escaped too. Must of had the super strength of a thousand hams knowing there was booty tang nearby his cage. Found them both later that day and 3 weeks later I had 13 hamsters. Gave away all the babs except 1 to other people.

I had a hamster named Toasted Marshmallow and she was killed by my brother's cat. Marshmallow kept escaping "escape proof" cages. Unfortunately, that last time even though she was found and returned to her cage she passed the next morning. It was traumatic for a kid.

I had a hamster and every night it's almost the same thing but whenever it goes to the wheel it just squeaks so loud I stay awake so we bought her a new one and it's completely stopped the squeaking and I'm happy.

My sister and I got Guinea pigs (aka fat hampsters) and mine was Oreo and hers was brownie and one day my sister got Oreo and threw him in the air luckily he survived.and we gave ‘‘em to some people and hopefully there ok 👌🏻
