Love the video. I have noticed that when I write in my journal, I definitely feel better when I write to God about what is going on. With me, I will say consistency is big when getting closer to God. Revealing what you are feeling everyday matters. Remember His Word states that He knows what is in our hearts.
I tried prayer journaling before and I didn't stick with it. But recently I just started prayer journaling again and this time I'm being very open and it's is causing me to feel free in my mind. 😊 thank you Morgan for the prayer journaling videos❤🎉😊

My birthday 🥳 June 3 I give myself God I be believing reading and reading the key in my life to God’s path couple days there for me when I am weak when I’m sad and depression, anxiety 😥 I was teaching me time to myself all over again I live in God, teach me all the things I need to know how to get closer to him so any of y’all can give me any advice how are you cause you to go very helpful I just turned 41 on June 3. I don’t like it I have a baby face but I think a reminder to see another year of my birthday reminded me how blessed I am❤🙏🏽❤️🩹💕

There is a really good way to get closer to God and that is by humbling yourself. Cut off every bad proud habits. Like when you sit on a chair with one leg across the other with an enclosed fist on your mouth with this feeling of intelligence in your heart while you think deeply of Gods word and how right you feel about your interesting wise opinion about it. Or like when you feel excited about how right you are after preaching to someone. Or like when you’re just being a dad and you drink a can of soda then you let loose a large burp while reading the news paper and you feel this careless manly attitude. Or like when your working in construction and your chewing gum while measuring plywood and you have this sense of masculinity tradesmen attitude in your gesture and body language when you do your work. Or like when your out in public serving customers and you have this proper feeling in your heart by acting professional kind of like a cop would feel while addressing an issue. Or like when you crack both your knuckles on each hand and you say to your self "its time to take care of business" and you have this sense of charging attitude when your about to complete this task like a boss head on. Or when you say “y’all need Jesus” with this homie ego attitude or even when you say “buddy” or “yo sup” you have this sense of slang pride ego street feeling. Cut all of it out because there is none of that in heaven. Be like a child. Feel like a baby fawn or any other beautiful animal you love when communicating with the father and he will adore your prayers. Not saying you can never be serious and have some self dignity but when you share don't feel like you’re sharing when you share. When your intelligent don't feel intelligent for being intelligent. When you teach don't feel like a teacher when your teaching. When your wise don't feel wise for being wise. When you succeed let others praise you and not you. When you know something, fix your face and look like you know enough. Be normal. Give up all pride and be humble. Don’t exalt yourself. A demon can give you proud feelings so rebuke it and get rid of it. Amen. Oh honey, pardon me if im misunderstanding, but this sounds a little too close to works, and i hope you dont monitor yourself this closely in such a harsh standard. I 100% understand what you're saying, that these behaviors are tells of an arrogant heart-- but thats all they are, tells. The way this is worded is almost to put all my focus on my outward expression; I've done that before, and it simply causes paranoia that im not right with God. Instead of focusing on Behavior modification ... Let these attitudes (that we all know are wrong through our conscience & The Holy Spirit), be like symptoms to a sickness... i dont treat the symptoms, i treat the sickenes. I ask the Holy spirit to convict me if im accting arrogant, God to check my heart and forgive me if im not loving others like He's loving me, but i dont live in condemnation that crossing my legs or burping my soda is going to come across as rude to someone else The Holy Spirit is enough!!!! Dont behavior modify, transform your mind and change your heart through the word of God!!!
Also how do you feel about Dates with jesus I been struggling what to do with God to spend time I been trying to be creative with dates I went on picnics with jesus but I feel like it hasn't been enough can you help
Dates with Jesus is beautiful, creative and fun way to spend time with God. But, you don't have to go on dates to have His attention or to give Him attention. You can have your special times you dedicate to Him which is very good, but spending time with God can be anytime of the day. Listening to worship, praising His name, talking to Him while you cook or shower, or on your way to school or work. You can spend time with Him anytime of the day and anywhere. God is only interested in having a relationship with you and He loves you🫂♥️♥️
