I recently left all social media platforms (except WhatsApp) and my self esteem and confidence literally shot up! I never realized just how much social media affected my confidence and how I was subconsciously comparing myself to these "perfect" people until recently .. I haven't felt so good about myself in a while. Thank God pulling me out of that pit!

About singleness. When I start looking at other couples and longing for my own relationship I remind myself that nothing is wrong with me. I’m just hidden “ when a man Finds a wife he FINES a good thing”. This implies that I’m hidden. I’m hidden FOR my spouse and hidden FROM counterfeits.

I was thinking about that I am not doing enough like other Christians and that others were doing more than me and blessing them more.

It is so sad that some of us don't find good in our seasons we only notice it when God blesses us. The art of comparison has been ongoing rampant situation for ages, it is not new but we learn that even those who are blessed start comparing themselves to other people which might hurt God who is our provider. I pray that we learn to embrace every season we are in cause God is doing a lot of work and perfecting us for his glory, it may shock you if you'd learn that there's people who look up to you or are inspired by you but you still comparing yourself. God is faithful he will complete what he has started in our lives. I believe that the moment we learn who we are and know our purpose we would understand the stages and seasons we are in without wishing or being conjured by our neighbours success or blessings. Amen! Such a great reminder. Two things I try to do when I struggle with comparison: First, I compare myself to my yesterday because it will help me do and be better today. Secondly, I compare myself to Jesus standards and that sets me up for success because we are called to be like Jesus. 💕

What a word. I prayed this morning for a word from God. Then said to myself or lead by the Holy Spirit to look through your videos and rested on this one. Wow, I had watched this video before but my God, this ignited my spirit. I have 2 test to pass by June 30, 2022 to get my teacher certification or I will have to come out of the classroom but my faith is contagious ignited my soul. I’m no longer looking at this date. I’m going to increase my faith and believe God who put me back on this path because I have been here before. I asked God for a word this morning. I got it, my faith is contagious. Increase my faith. Don’t doubt my God. The delay is not DENIAL. Thank you, thank you, thank you Morgan. God is truly using you. I pray your ministry which it has keeps growing and growing. This blessed me! I began to feel discouraged with my business but I'm going to keep pursuing and not going to give up. It's fully dedicated to God and I have to trust He loves me just as much as everyone else no matter the outcome.

I fully love this! I love the idea of comparing yourself to yourself, where you have come from etc. So so good. You never know, the person you are comparing yourself with, might be comparing the self to you and there is a vicious circle that is just destructive to both! Someone once told me "comparison is suicide. By looking at others you are not true to yourself, therefore you have killed yourself by not being who you were created to be" Thank you for the encouragement hun!

Appreciate you needed this message Been comparing myself to others for 2 or 3 years felt like I was not as gifted or talented as others. Felt like my life was boring that is why I try to take breaks away from social because it can take away your joy and happiness. Staying off of social media helps ! I use to compare myself to others girls beauty , bodies, etc and since I’ve been off of it more, I don’t do it as much 💖

I'm in my first semester of university, so I'm in a new environment and it's quite hard to make friends and relate to others because of differing beliefs.
