@@ikthion6402 I'm not talking about onlyfans at all😂I'm talking about getting on camera in order to talk about your music & share it to the world just like L.Dre does.
Always helping the homies 🙏🏽👑 but guys remember money comes when you PUT IN THE WORK. There’s no shortcuts or tactics that will make you money if you don’t do what you gotta do and stay consistent
@kolter00, you are on point, this is one problem with most artist. They don't want to invest in their own craft on the promotion side of the industry. Which takes money, to make money! Great post!
Thank you my man! I really appreciate you being down to earth with all cash revenues. There's always an inerrant hype around money talk. Everybody wants money and live off they love. The thing is if you don't manage expectation, you risk losing love for what you're doing. I think how your approach in this video has valuable cautionary tales that are sewed with you personnal experience in the industry. I hope in the future you make a follow up video of "I fell off" with the title "I'm well off"
I watch a lot of these videos but when L.dre does one I always appreciate it More. Something about his chill style encourages me to always try harder 🙏💕 STAY BLESSED
Great tips fam! I made a couple hundred from streaming. My advice is submit your release to Lofi labels that have a large network, so your track goes on loads of playlists. Then if you get a Spotify editorial, thats another huge boost to your streams.
Thx 🙏🏾 for the tips my man. I’ve been in the music game a long time but spent more time helping others but just shifted to helping myself simultaneously and your information is priceless.
Thanks for the video L.Dre. Very helpful tips. Right now, I'm getting money just from the streams and you're right, right now it's not much despite thousands of streams, but I have opened a beats store on my website and I'm currently working on some sample pack ideas. I'll look into Sync Licensing and maybe the NFTs if I'm up for it.
Hey bro thank you for dropping some knowledge about that subject because not everyone will have the sincerity and honesty to let people knows about that much love and respect my brother 👍🙏❤.
you inspired me to start making money off streaming. working on my first project now. if you already have one I apologize, but a more detailed video on sync licensing would be awesome
I'd probably only make a more detailed video on that after I get into it more. As I said in the video im a bit privileged on that in because my manager finds stuff like that for me
I Love the Last message bruuuh....real asf😂😂😂 Many people will be scared to say that but it's reality...i got you bro...i'mma walk my wy way up to get to where you are Thanks for the video
I appreciate your content man. I watch your videos bc you’re real and authentic and it comes across clearly in your media. It makes you stick out as trustworthy. There’s so much bullshit out there and it can be difficult to sift through all of it to find the gems. And I’m grateful that I found your channel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and path to success, I’m sure you’re genuinely helping a lot of good people out here. 🙏🏼💎🙏🏼
Great video bro. I’ve wanted to make beats forever and I’ve been messing with garage band on my phone for the last few months and doing research to learn more about all this now I got a Mac book otw so I can do some serious work and I’m gonna dedicate more of my time to this. I’m passionate about it I love making beats and a fuck a 9-5 it’s my dream to be financially stable doing something I love on my own time. Appreciate all the tips
I used to peep you on Instagram back when you was at your mom's garage. Then you finally made it up and left with ya lady. Damn bro you did for it for real. I gotta get on that shit
It really just comes down to making time because I want to improve my knowledge and quality but aside from lots of work I need to make time to do all that. That's my priority while still finding a job to make money. Thanks L dre❤
Hope you are investing your wealth for interest so you can retire early brother. A lot of self-made people think once they have a bunch of money it'll never go away but it can disappear in an instant over nothing. Play smart so you never have to worry about what will happen in the future!
great video, tryna be like you my man! btw, what kind of microphone did u use when sampling around disney world? been trying to get a good portable mic
I appreciate the tips man 💯 could you go into a little bit more depth about sync licensing? I definitely would like to branch into that market more and any tips would be helpful!
I’m a single mom living in a homeless shelter w my kids but I have an iPhone & a passion for music (production & singing/song writing). All I have is BandLab, GarageBand, koala sampler, etc & a pair of headphones rn lol. My mixes aren’t the best at the moment due to having limited equipment options but I do what I can and it honestly doesn’t sound too bad. I plan on going to school for production so I can produce for other artists and for myself. Idk when I’ll have my own place again so having a spot to put a studio in until then is looking iffy. My question is do you think I could still sell beats on beat stars or should I wait to start selling & just focus on documenting my progress and building more of a following? (I have almost 4k on TikTok and have had a few videos go viral)
I enjoy your post cause your the most real about how to make money.plus you have actually made money making music. And your not trying to sell some useless course👍🏿. Plus if you see your videos one can see your financial growth by your studio shots. I take what YOU say seriously because I see you actually doing it.plus your honesty about the money you make giving us some real numbers I especially appreciate that. Got my first releases dropping on September 23. And I will be using some of your ideas.Keep growing. AK66
Hey L Dre. Love ur music . And has inspired me to make similar kind of music, against the music I normally perform live.. I love country, gospel, retro classic rock n stuff. Im from India. So you know how difficult it is for us Indians to absorb this kind of music.. That being said, I still perform live. N make my living. I was wondering if you could gimme extra tips n advice on how to go about making music online and start off right away, so that I don't have to depend on live shows a 100%. I have a decent setup at home, I work mostly on cubase and Reason. Plus I have a Roland FA 07. A Little help will be much appreciated. I was particularly interested in your advice on online streaming and Sync Licensing. Thank you. Have a great day
All of these can be easily accessible ONCE you have an audience. Even the NFT project. No one cares about your NFT’s if you’re a nobody. But if you have your audience, all of these doors open up for you… moral of the story, build your audience and begin posting on social media EVERYDAY.
Yo @L.Dre, NIC-FOLEY here. Yo I was wondering how you go about making an unofficial remix/s and able to post them on your RU-vid page and not get into any trouble after with RU-vid & major companies like SONY, UNIVERSAL...etc. by using acapellas of the artists that are signed by them? if you haven’t cover this on one of your videos can you kindly make one, maybe this might not answer or help me alone but it can help a lot of us who are wondering thanks. by the way am your biggest fan of your work. love this remix you did here 😃"Shibuya (Ft. Frank Ocean) [Chanel Funk Remix]" 🙌🙌🙌
Thank you for your videos. Question for you: Do you or have you ever sold portions of your streaming revenues before you release a song? I ask because I've been doing jingle work for many years, yet I was doing all "buy-outs" ... Now I want to have companies use my songs in their ads and motivate them to use it as often as possible by sharing in the streaming revenues ... does that make sense?
