I love these tips for Early park admission I do the same thing for my Early Park Admission at Universal Island Of Adventure and Universal Studios when studios has Early Park Admission available
Thanks for the video. I should have watched it before visiting - during a spring break Sunday recently I was at the turnstiles by 7:55 (I didn’t know they opened earlier) and went straight to Hagrid’s. Posted wait time was already 100 minutes, though it was only 55 in reality. Didn’t really change after the park opened for general admission either, so I felt like I should have slept in if it’s not going to be much different. If there’s one thing you could have added - it’s noting that the singles line is frequently not available on Hagrid’s during the EPA, so that’s not an option. After your first ride, you’re pretty much doomed to the hour long line for the re-ride. Maybe the other thing to mention: it’s frequently chilly riding those rides at that early hour of the morning! Especially if there is also wind, and that surprised me. Thanks again.
That is great information for everyone to know!! We totally agree on all that info! We are glad you enjoyed the video! Were you able to get a lot done during the day even with the high crowd levels?
Thanks for the helpful video! How early should we be at the parking garage for EPA if we’re staying offsite? I know we have to get through security and city walk. Also have to print our tickets and get the attraction assistance pass at guest relations.
The parking garage opens 1 hour prior to early park admission! I would recommend being there when it opens to maximize epa. Guest relations will open shortly before epa
I've always found its best to hit Hagrads was at the end of the day. EPA was just to hectic and Ines were as long as they were at the middle of the day. I'd rather sleep in somewhat when on holidays. Lol.
Great video! I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t first in line for EPA 🤣. If islands is EPA in May, we’re going straight to Hagrids first. Then the Velocicoaster the next day 😬.
Great video! We had the great luck of Hagrid's being delayed for our EPA. We were in line for an hour before it was up and running. So that's something unfortunate that can happen.
Thanks for the tips, was wondering if we should do Hagrids or Velocicoaster first.... looks like Hagrid for the win! We will be there next week T,W,Th - staying at on-site hotel.
@@fudge_factor Cabana Bay..... excited for Velocicoaster, haven't ridden yet... and maybe trying some of the backstage tours, if available. AND Butterbeer - already drooling.... Last time we were there was Aug 2020 - it was EMPTY (a covid perk!)
We are curious how much time you had in Hogsmead after riding Hagrid’s and Velocicoaster but before the park opened to everyone else. Can you share your wait time for Hagrid’s that morning? Thanks!
Absolutely! So on this particular day the gates opened at roughly 7:45! We made our way right to Hagrid’s. We probably waited for about 10 minutes for Hagrid’s and then waited maybe 15 for Velocicoaster (posted 20). When it all was said and done we probably had 15-20 minutes left. Now granted, we had zero issues this particular morning, so delays or maintenance issues can certainly play a factor as well as actual vs posted wait times! Great question!! ☺️☺️
We think the fastest route is through Seuss landing, but taking the path on the left side of Green Eggs and Ham instead of the right. Where you will save the most time is being ready to put your stuff in the lockers prior to getting to hogsmeade! ☺️
That’s a great question!! I would say Velocicoaster but everyone is going to head right there! It might be a great time to enjoy some slow time in Hogsmeade. I wish we had a better answer ☹️ I’m curious if the closure will impact epa crowd levels at all 🤷🏻♂️ Is your trip while Hagrid’s is down?
@@omarmendez2309 totally understand that! From cabana bay you have a couple options. 1. Walk- it’s probably just under a mile or so and will probably be your quickest option. Especially if you are trying to hit the security gates right as they open. 2. You could jump over to sapphire falls and use the water taxi. However, water taxis start 1 hour prior to epa, and the security gates open 1 hour prior to epa so there will be more people ahead of you if you take this option. The shuttles are an option but they drop you off at the main CityWalk security hub and the security gates there will be more busy than the security gates for staying on site!
@@fudge_factor ok so in order for me to enter Island of adventure I have to go walk thru City Walk right. Are there security gates in both City Walk and the park or just the park.
