@@fudge_factor Never been to Universal and can't wait. I took my daughter to her first theme park in 2000 (Six Flags New Orleans) and this is her Father's Day present to me this year. I think she wants to get revenge on me for making her ride the scary rides. Lol It's gonna be a 2-day blast of food and fun!
You have to go back to minions specifically for the minion tots. Also, I love how this just got more and more unhinged as it went 😂 dipping chicken in dole whip was WILD
Oh the minion tots are 🔥🔥. We would just get orders of tots if we could! They are delicious It really did. Just no cares by the end! 😂🤣 It was awesome seeing you at the meetup! Hopefully we see you in the parks again soon!
About 6 years ago my family and I went to Universal for my daughter’s birthday in January, then decided to go back in November. We didn’t buy annual passes, we paid for two full vacation packages within the same calendar year. After doing the math when I found out about the hotel discounts with annual passes, I literally felt like that Tiger King clip.
I live in NY not the city but walking through this area in the park reminds me about my home, which I don’t want to be reminded on bc I’m on vacation 😅
Traverse City is awesome. Hope you guys have a great time. Tips- 1) A vinyard tour up to Old Mission Point to watch the sunset makes for a chill family day. Bring beach chairs or a blanket. 2) We always take our kayak and a cooler with us out on the East Traverse Bay, water is usually really calm, makes for a great 'afternoon date'. 3) If you guys actually like Mel's in Universal check out 'Don's Drive-In' near East Traverse Bay. 4) Can spend all day just walking around downtown Traverse City but gonna be packed this time of year. The Traverse City Pie Co is a must do. 5) If you guys want a good workout walk across Sleeping Bear Dunes to lake Michigan or go to the Overlook and clock your climb times. Getting down is easy, climbing back up is a LOT harder than it looks. More fun than Leg Day at the gym. Bonus- You should try showing your driver's license at one of the MANY fudge shops. Maybe they'll comp you. 😂 Enjoy!
Question about Frequent fear pass, I remember you said it will be released mid July 🙏, Do you have to be universal annual pass holder to get the fear passes?
Great question! No you do not have to be a pass holder to get the frequent fear pass. They are available for all 🤗 hoping to see them drop here in the upcoming weeks! 🤞🤞🤞
My husband is civilian but works for DOD and qualifies for the military pass! We bring an empty water bottle and water is free at all the soda kiosks. When we arrive, I grab an Uber and get enough food for breakfast, snacks (you can bring them in the park) and dinner for my family and keep it in the hotel (with drinks for mom and dad). Then we eat out one massive meal a day at the parks (our favorite are the Harry Potter world restaurants). I love the idea of staying one night in a premier hotel! Will try that next time.
I’m surprised you didn’t break this into two nights. God bless you both. Are you all going to be at the August meet up? Which items would you want to eat all of besides Richter Burger fries?
Hahaha had to give it a whirl!! Maybe! We haven’t decided yet! We aren’t local so it would be a bit of a hike to make it down, but maybe! Are you?? Hmmm, tacos at cafe la bamba were amazing! The burger at Mel’s was also very good! And then over at islands the cupcake at circus mcgurkus was to die for!
Preparing for the FL weather is one of the most important tips. Those from out of state unfamiliar with the FL weather are in for a real shock when they see how September really is. The heat and the rain are no joke
Hey guys keep up the great work, just got my first postcard a couple weeks back so I just wanted to say thank you❤, and also perfect timing with this one cause I’ve been drilling my younger brother to get informed because this’ll be his first year and I don’t want him going in blind😅
Thank you so much!! We are glad you received your card!! He does!! Going in blind can be fun, but also super stressful! It can be a lot to take in! Are you excited?
I went and got my DOD ID Card just so I can get these. We got the 3 park pass. We are doing 4 nights at Royal Pacific so we can get the express passes . will come back in December for my birthday. It's such a great deal.
@@fudge_factor its the first king kong ride actually! Its on the studio tour and its the same but this cool effect would have the tram being bit and fall down splitting i. Half but its only seen in fourth car, or third car. Really good and the earthquake attraction is also still on the studio tour. I reccomend going on school days so the wait lines are short
@@fudge_factor its very recommended that if you wanna go during vacation to get the Vip experience OR express pass. A reminder its a working movie studio so theres 12 rides but each have a charm and theres also hollywood wrist bands you can use with the app. Another reminder is that on school days, its very small days so most rides have short lines, like currently mario kart bowsers challenge is open.
@@fudge_factor and if its your first time, they give you a little badge for coming, + if you want to have 2 days of fun you can at hollywood, ive been to holywood many times and i wanna go to orlando resort someday.
awesome as usual. Cannot stress dry feet enough. not an add, but i wear Vesi shoes which are waterproof yet a running shoe format. saved me the last HHN opening night (poured)
@@fudge_factor Probably the scare zones! I’ve only ever been to six flags fright fest and this is my first ever trip, but I’ve heard such great things about HHN !
You are going to have SO much fun! It’s a large event so definitely do your research to get the most done as possible! Highly, HIGHLY recommend splurging on express for the event! I get it every time and when you “rope drop” a few houses, save the express and you can go through the house again later in the evening.
