I found that the video was very informative and very inspiring. I have just started Drop Shipping so I'm still wet under the collar. I look forward to making a business that will replace my current financial situation. I know I'm going to have failures but that is the learning process and I'm not going to stop until I achieve success. You helped thousands of people everyday with your videos and I want to say thank you for instilling inspiration, Drive, and determination for would-be entrepreneurs.
Just WOW!!!! Thank you for making one of the most informative videos I’ve ever watched! I am a newbie to drop shipping (as in still making my webstores etc) but your channel and videos have moved me along in major strides...THANK YOU!! I look forward to learning and earning as a drop shipper!
I HEARD THE FOLLOWING IS GOING INTO EFFECT: As of September 25, 2019, the United States reached a compromise with the UPU to not withdraw from the union. However, the U.S. will now have the freedom to impose “self-declared rates” on distribution of mail from all foreign countries including China. This agreement goes into effect July 1, 2020 and you can bet that shipping from China will go up in price dramatically!
FOR Question #5, as a new DSer, all I am watching is how to be a Great DSer! LOL! Great Video as always and Oberlo 101 is a great course. I have taken several different DS courses from various platforms..Udemy, Spocket, etc. to see what differences there are and honestly, besides Oberlo 101, these Oberlo RU-vid Videos have more relevant content than most of the other paid courses!
Hi there! There's no specific list. What Jessica is saying is to anticipate upcoming holidays (like Christmas, Halloween, etc.) and create a sense of urgency by encouraging people to "purchase now, to get it in time for Christmas". Hope that helps! 🙂 -Jasper
Great Video, but i find it difficult to read the instructions that you select or type in FB Ads Manager. Is the video not focused properly or am i losing my sight. Does anyone else faced the same issue, if not then its my sight i guess. But in any case video is great.
Enjoyed watching all your videos especially the interviews with successful dropshippers but never commented. That is an awesome video, keep doing such videos.
Seriously! - I love your videos!!! This is really great information. No one else - that I follow - has talked about this. I really enjoy learning from you. The way you teach is awesome for my learning style. I am so grateful that I found your channel and subscribed. I don't want to miss a moment. :o)
So how are we supposed to structure this endevor? Will I have to have a general store to sell based on product? Or are you talking making a brand for each product? Like where do we run ads from, a business page? Thanks!
Hi there! Your online store will showcase as many products as you like. It can be a general store or a niche store that sells only a few, it doesn't much matter. The way you advertise it does matter, however. You'll be running ads via Facebook and showcasing your products on prospective customers Facebook feeds. Check out our Facebook tutorials on RU-vid, or, get the Oberlo:101 course and follow along! 🙂 -Jessica
I must say it is one of my faves as well and it will work for more than just the rolling pin. Try to always think as the marketer, and not to be the one marketed to.
Hi Jess, great content as always, and I covered most of the videos so far. However, there is a question I've never seen any one talking about it. What if a customer ordered a couple of products from different suppliers. What's the shipping strategy in this case. Multiple shipments!!! Frustrating for the clients !!...
Hi there! So happy you enjoyed the video. If your customer orders multiple products from different suppliers the products will come in different shipments. If you want to avoid this it's best to use one or two suppliers so most or all of your products will arrive together in one package. If you choose to use multiple suppliers you can explain that the products will arrive in separate packages because they are shipped from different warehouses. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Kitana
Very Nice thank you for the insight and for the help by means of giving me a kick start, and getting me back into thinking "outside the norm..." I mean "Box!" LOL But for real, great tips and I greatly appreciate the tips on the holiday products. Two thumbs up.
@@Oberlo I sure will and I am taking notes and in the process of implementing one of the technics I learned from this video right now. ;) (That's why it took me a minute to respond.) And you will see me enrolling in the Oberlo 101 course in the very near future. I also want to say thank you for all you do for me and my business and for so many others as well.
I'm not a lawyer or anything but in my opinion and from working online since 2009 I will say you should never use someone's name or photograph in advertising or any type of promotion on any of your website(s) or blog(s) without permission. To use an actor or actress's photo as if they are endorsing a product without their permission can be a serious charge. They get paid the big bucks for endorsements and from one marketer to another my advice would be just don't do it.
Hi Jessica your videos are gold mine :) . I have a question. I am based out of UK and want to start dropshipping from here (using oberlo of course) but my only concern is unlike US, UK charges the customer import fee for all items coming out of EU. How can I integrate custom charges in my store through oberlo so that customer only pays what he sees in my shopify store?
Hi Karen! First off thank you for the comment, I'll be sure to pass it to Jessica. When it comes to import fees there isn't a way to integrate them into your Shopify account. This is because the fee is charged at the boarder and you wouldn't know how much it's going to be until it actually is charged. With that said, your products are not going to be shipping outside of the EU, they will be shipping into the EU (if you decide to sell there). If there are duties charged for the customers they would still have to pay that just as they would with any store they order from outside of the EU. You can let your customers know that your company has warehouses located outside of the EU so they will expect that charge before ordering, you can decide to sell to another country (the USA, or UK for example), or you can try to find products that are located in warehouses that are in your country (bit.ly/2zwiK2j). I hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions for us. 🙂 -Kitana
Hey Oberlo, there has recently been massive news in the dropshipping world, that news being Silkroad. I presume all drop-shippers (most of them) myself included use your app for importing products, and it works like a charm. But drop-shipping is plagued by one serious problem, that being shipping times, well Silkroad has solved that problem with the 5-8 day shipping and they have a ton of advantages over anyone, custom branded invoicing, auto-fulfill, order tracking, etc... They will become serious competition for you guys and I personally would want to stay with you because I trust you, but I can't do that if they are better... I can't expect you to make a video about them, but can you please respond to this if you know something about them and will we see a better upgraded version of Oberlo?
Hi there! Thanks for your comment. It's a common misconception that shipping times plague the dropshipping industry, they don't. If you're transparent about shipping times, you can still runna profitable and sustainable business. Silkroad is a newcomer to the market, and with any new tool for your eCommerce business, it's worth doing some research before switching to it. Reddit, for example, can be a good source for reviews! 🙂 -Jessica
Thanks for your kind comment! Oberlo is a part of Shopify, that's the short answer! You can still use your existing site to sell Oberlo products. You'll need to use the Shopify Lite (bit.ly/20IwEIn) plan which allows you to embed Buy Buttons on your existing store. The Buy Buttons direct your website visitors to a Shopify checkout and then redirect them back to your site after checkout. This will give you access to the Shopify Admin and the Oberlo Marketplace. Hope that helps! 🙂 -Jasper
You can create a general store, but if one of the product you think is the winning products and wants to scale it , then u can make a new one product store for that :)
@@skingleyjoseph5402 I've got ask did you learn anything from your experience? If not then go back into your ad's analytics and tear them apart and see if you can find why they weren't converting. Did you run only one ad or did you try variations of the ad? How deep down did you drill in targeting your audience's interests? Don't look at as you wasted $50 on them ads because negativity will only draw negativity. Look at as a learning experience and make notes of your mistakes and try again. One thing I remember my father instilling in my mind as a young boy was "quitters never win and winners never quit."
Hey there! Thank you so much. Saturated products mean that theres a lot of people selling that product in that niche or market. A niche that is more saturated can be clothing since there are so many clothing stores. That doesn't mean you shouldn't sell in that niche though because within the niche there are different categories. Kids clothing, pet clothing, plus size, petit, clothes made out of recyclable materials, etc. As fas as dynamic pricing, this means that you will change the price of the products depending on how much of a demand there is. If it's in high demand you can sell it at a higher price point, if it's in low demand you might want to reconsider. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Kitana
Hey Jessica , when was the last time you've rum FB ads ? I guess 10 years ago, correct ? Today if you target The Lion King and intercept with Cats in US , your CPM will be $100 !
Hey Jessica. What if I have an idea (researched it and have a feeling it’ll be a winner) to start up a niche store, so I get a domain name that’s exactly what the store is and I design my store to suit the niche, but then I test a product or two and they bomb, do I just purchase a new domain name and start again?
Hey there! Excellent question. Yes, that's the risk of starting a niche store... What you can do is create a niche store that has an overlying theme that ties a group of products together (a domain that applies to a broader scope of products but is still niche). Otherwise, yes, you'll have to build from the ground up each time if you select a domain that is the product you're selling. Hope that helps! 🙂 -Jessica
I will run this by our content team and let them know that this is something our community wants to see. Thank you so much for leaving your feedback! 🙂 -Kitana
Absolutely! As long as your supplier ships to the country you want to target, the same strategy applies. Just be sure to be in tune with the varying buyer tendencies from one market to the next. 🙂 -Jasper
Hey there! Great question. Choosing a name is important for your brand and the name should reflect the people behind the brand (if you want to tell your personal story), or what the brand sells, or a general niche the brand falls into. You can be as straight forward as you want when naming the store or be more creative. It's up to you. Make a list of 5 names you like and talk to your friends to see what they like. It might help a lot to get outsiders perspective on your store name. I hope that helps. 🙂 -Kitana

The only valuable content Jessica has ever produced. I was only here for the interviews otherwise. Jessica did you really created all these ideas or got help from the pros? ;) PS not trying to offend your intelligence
jet052673 cause all other content was trash and I asked if she got all these tricks from the pros. I meant she did not created these tricks on her own.
@@soum8975 well you can't expect tell someone that you're not trying to offend them, but tell them their info is trash. Why comment then? Why are you watching? You obviously know more than her, right?
Soum, are you pretending to be stupid or you are actually stupid. Not sure which. First before you say anything, think about how you would feel if someone told you the same thing
soum how incredibly rude. You wonder if Jessica got her info from the pros.... I guess you don't believe a pretty blond lady could be one of those pros herself?
