I’m back for a craft with me video. This is my official entry for the ongoing Christmas Collaboration hosted by RachandBella Crafts dubbed as #ChristmasCraftOff23 participated in by different amazing journal makers and creatives from around the world. Our craft session today is entitled Journal Cards - Let’s Get Fussy. Hence, in this video, we are going to do 5 Ways To Use Fussy Cuts in Making Journal Cards.

What neat new ideas! The snowman can be interactive on a journal page by gluing the ends of the twine between pages and just sliding him back and forth!

I like how you show making journal cards from scratch and the various ways to prepare the base adding little touches like rounding the corners, sewing, making booklets etc before adding any decorations. And showing 5 ways to add them with their own embellishing with eyelets, twine, blocks etc is very helpful for beginners especially. Thank you.

I love how you leave a little white on the fussy cuts, not worrying about making them “perfect.” That’s always my problem, and why I hate fussy cutting. But these look awesome. I’m going to try not to be so picky! Very cute cards! Tfs ❤

Punching the corners of journal cards gives them a finished look. Us with no cutting machine can easily do fussy cutting. You did a great job.

I think your method of glueing down the page to cardstock, and THEN trimming makes soooo much sense. For that one tip alone, I want to thank you. Now,,, back to the video…🥰. I appreciated your laid back quiet tutorial and found several good ideas to make journaling cards. I especially liked the extra touch of adding an eyelet to the little mouse, making him into a tag and placing him inside the pocket, very fun.
