I used to be the two strand twister until i finally committed to dreads. My mama was the main reason i wasn't allowed to get dreads. But I'm grown now and do what I want 😎
I love freeforms because its hard to mock someone’s freeform journey bc if im being honest a lot of the regular dreadheads just look the same. No shade being thrown im js speakin my opinion
I mean a lot of free formers look the same especially the ones that do the sponge method. I started out my free forms after a twist out and started my loc journey from free forms lmao
@@davidemele3763 you are right to a certain extent but after the twist out there was no manipulation I let my hair do as it pleased. It surely didn’t look the same from when I first did my twist out.
Growing up in the late 90s/early 2000s I remember EVERYBODY had the fade that was super low or some braids there was hardly any in between Rarely ever saw locs And imo so many ppl with locs is a welcome sight The era of the fade is thankfully over we letting our hair grow come what may 😂
lol I had a fade got tired havin to curls it then straightened two strand retwist my hair for awhile so what I’m doin I’m lettin my sides grow but just took my two strand twist out imma let that lock up and not do nothin but oil it and then cover it at the end of the month imma probably do a protective style
The way that you can prevent hair loss if you dye your dreads if you keep it nourished. Now if you dye your hair multiple times your hair gon get tired if it. THEN it will proceed to fall out 😂

Aye man good video 😂 BUT I started mine as two strand twist 4 years ago, got them retwisted constantly and they came out normal. Dont sleep on the 2 strands 😂😂
@@marii6855 Then I start getting retwist every month. Then after a year they combined and started to lock up. And after 2 years I jus got retwist whenever I felt like it cause I know they wasnt coming out 😂😂😂
@@marii6855 But I say you go the two strand route if u get dreads. They look better than normal starter dreads. And as long as u get a line up and taper fade you'll look decent. I stayed with a fresh hair cut and stayed getting compliments.
. It use to be waves before 2020. I had dreads from 2011-2015. The waves from 2016-2023. Now I’m back locking up. I’m happy to see so many young dread heads

I don’t fully agree with the last one. When I finally decided to get locs after growing my hair out for almost a year, my locs initially looked like that but 8 months later, they’re much longer
