The braid dreads is a bad take someone definitely misinformed you cause 2 strand twist are classified as braids and a lot of people start with 2 strands because the locs are thicker and harder to thin out than traditional comb coils

What are you talking about lmao? Two-strand twist are 2 strands and braids are 3, hence the name lol. Also, because braids typically utilize more hair to make one unit, you're going to ultimately have fewer locs on your head than you would with two strands, which is why it looks bad.
