I lost my cat this year. I wish I'd have thought of keeping a journal for him so I could look back on everything about him. I think it's such an awesome idea to keep a journal for your dogs. You seem like such a loving mama to them. Love this.
thanks for the walkthrough! I was debating between sizes and decided on the A5. I don't have a dog, but what a beautiful way to commemorate them and enjoy their company!
It’s uncanny how similar your story is to my story of my impulse purchase of two of the Sterling Ink 5 year diaries in B6! A RU-vidr struck a nerve with me. I’m using them in a very similar way but with my kids. One is for my son and one will be for my daughter. I’m thinking of making them a 10 year diary but still debating that. I want to gift my children these books when they are adults. This is such a commitment! Does that make you feel nervous? I’m worried about it. But like you said, I need to put my phone down and engage with my babies! I’m hoping that the accountability of this book encourages me to be more present with my kids.
Oh that is a beautiful idea to use them for your children and gift them to them later on in life Sujey! I’m not tooo nervous about it as they are undated, so we have the flexibility but if worse comes to worse I’ll just back fill if I miss some days or just add photos printed on paper rather then photo paper so it doesn’t make the diary’s to bulky! I take photos of my dogs daily so I’ll never be without photos haha. But honestly I always have thoughts about them anytime I look at them and being able to jot them down will be so rewarding later on in life. And I guess I could even use it as a “Whenever I have a thought” diary so just fill it up whenever I have a moment. The a5 one I will try my best at the daily entry! Even if I stop using one of my other journals, and only use that one then I’ll do that as I think I’d love to have all my thoughts in one place rather then in many different books. But currently I a, journaling 1-2 times a day in my messy journal and also my lv pocket journal when I’m in bed, so I think it should be easy!
