I love the 3776 a lot. I own five of them, including the celluloid Jade, Calico and Midnight Ocean. I need the Tortoise, too. Happy for you that you got this gorgeous celluloid Platinum for yourself.
I’m so glad you received a beauty! Such a nice mix for yours. I like how there’s a nice balance on your cap and the barrel. Unfortunately I had to return mine- they sent me a total dud. It had an all white top with a black spot on it and the lower half was muddy- like something went wrong while making the resin blank. So bummed because I’ve seen so many nice ones! And only paid US$170 … but I couldn’t keep it at that price. I ended up getting a Pelikan M600 Cambon from them which arrives tomorrow!
I really love nice pens. It's unusual these days, where everything is typed and the printed. When I was at work, I always carried a ball point pens, as well as a fountain pen. I prefer a heavy pen - preferably a metal one. Nibs have to be a medium or a broad one, I can't stand a scratchy pointy one! Thank you for this video; it's nice to hear from a 'Proper Pen Person'!

I believe its sold out everywhere but If you go to Baum-kuchen or NOMAD Store and put your email down to be notified its back in stock thats probably your best bet.
you have such a gorgeous collection! those scribos are so stunning, esp the green one! just wanted to let you know you’ve been calling the converters cartridges. the little plastic prefilled ones are cartridges and the ones you fill with ink are converters. i hope this doesn’t come off as rude. thank you for sharing!

I truly enjoyed your overview of your fountain pens!! Unfortunately I missed getting a few of the ones you have that I really like, but they aren't available any more. (Vanishing points, for example) I hate to buy out of FOMO, but then I end up missing out...haha. I did get the Scribo Feel Spiaggia Rosa. It is beautiful! Thanks again for sharing. Such a lovely and aesthetically harmonious collection! I have similar taste and some of the same pens 😊 (although I also am a fan of Lamy Safaris). I love my “coffee”-pens like the Kaweco student, Sailor PGS “White Russian” and Pelikan M200 (I got a perfect nib 🤞). I just got Sailor PGS Line Friends Brown and it’s so beautiful. And the Montblanc Baby Ivory is on my wishlist, but soooo expensive… PS. Pelikan gold nibs are amazing and supersmooth (I have a few M400s), but you’re right that they often are on the broader side! Do you know you can buy a M400 gold nib separately and put in your Cafe Crème?
From my experience buying top end pens from Amazon has been usually positive. I think buying pens that were sourced through Amazon Japan or buying directly from Amazon Japan increases your chance of getting a truly new pen.😊 Also, Pelikan pens are extremely juicy and wide even when compared to other European nibs. Also have you tried using Micro-Mesh sanding of your scratchy nibs? I’ve only had the courage to smooth steel nibs, but they can make a scratchy nib smooth or at least usable.

I'm waiting on my first pens to arrive and am starting with basic black, but it's nice to see a range or browns here. I really want to try a brown and i don't think you're colors are boring at all. They are earthy and cozy.
Love the notebook! I ordered 2 and if it was 200 sheets it would be the perfect notebook. Love that it was 252 pages but needed a few more and I would be covered for the year :-)
Immediately looked for the Nagasawa Platinum while watching your review- I’ve been looking for a demonstrator too and have also fallen in love with Platinums. (Love your pen collection- btw I was the one who was able to snag your Nuts pen a few weeks ago!!) 😊
such lovely pens! 💛 and pardon the unsolicited advice but i just got back from travelling with fountain pens and they def won’t take them away for their nibs being sharp :) just make sure they are stored nib up when you’re flying (i took my pen case out and put it in the back pouch of the seat in front of me). (i also wrapped them in paper towel and they were all fine!)
Such beautiful pens. I have been eyeing a few Platinum pens, sadly out of my budget at the moment. The Sensuke, Chai Latte and hachimonjiya are my favorites. If I had the budget, Id buy all three of those. No judgment because I say you buy what you like and enjoy them to the fullest.
This is another Sailor x Germany pen and I was devastated not to be able to get the "cafe crema" pen ---- how can i purchase these limited edition pens if I live in the US? PLEASE HELP!!!
