In my case, not focusing on money gave me a really hard time. I focused on learning but didn't get even that. No learning and no money made me depressed. I was stagnant in my career and also couldn't afford to spend money on things I wanted. Or even spend on my personal development. When I began to focus on earning more money, things were a bit better. Learning is still not much but I am a bit happier
I think there should be a balance for learning and money in a job. All money and no learning makes it boring. On the other hand all learning and no money obviously makes you poor.
Bro see these mantras may not work for everyone......haar kisi ka nazeeb mein alag alag likha hota hota....there are many factors that it depends on. So be happy life gives u many opportunities.☺️.
Some brains are like this. Not everyone can’t achieve everything like she. Yes what tips she given you can use good improvement u can make. Now we are into a world we see someone else Porsche life and struggle and bet everything. You can struggle with whatever brain you have. You cant expect MacBook performance in an intel pentium processor. Yes small improvement in ram rom etc u can make increase performance. So improvement vs expectations should have a balance. So even if you live so called poor life wont regrets for the expectations and struggle u made in your early lifes
Hey Shatakshi, Agree with most of your points, however, there's one point that is not quite true (at least in my and my teammates' case)- the shift to management consulting from FMCG Sales didn't mean a huge hike for some of us. It was actually a very minimal hike from the previous salary. That being said, your content is great for beginners and experienced folks alike. We need people like you because career counseling across the globe is still in its nascent stages. Having done my time in Textile (post engineering, pre-MBA), FMCG Sales (post-B School), management consulting, and now software - I do resonate with what you said - learning should be a priority, and money is a by-product (and the by-product is great 😁). Looking forward to more of your quality content. So refreshing!
How is your personal life ? Are you happy? With a life abroad & travelling? I am sorry for this odd question I am recently married and bought a house in India. I am really interested in the career path you have guided me towards, But I feel it will come at a cost of me sacrificing my family time, hence asking,
I think you seriously need to consider the pays of IT product based companies these days, a good scope of MBAs are brewing up with SaaS industry, if it comes to high pay scales :)
On a very honest note shes the one in need of those skills no disrespect but ur words come of as smugness not politeness i am saying this with similar luck which u have in ur life without telling others how to do what they do success works differently for others a crore is or might be your dream some people go with different objective
@@Shatakshi.Sharma sorry but saw your vedio, A. Your communication skills aren't so good B. After learning so much and doing well you became a youtuber, congrats
Its always lovely to have this chai break with you, i actually drink chai while watching your videos. Great insights on the big firms and the roles. Well done
Hi Ma'am, I am planning to do PhD from US after 3 years of work experience. My aim is to start a technology licensing company in India, to avoid atleast a bit of technology import from US and Europe. India can only move ahead from here if we bring Scientific revolution and increase our emphasis on innovation and technology. Whats your take on this?
@@vipulchandrajha8533 India will not develop unless poor is educated and literacy and basic health facilities are improved. Most urban Indians live on their fake image of developed society, development is not sudden surge in huge number of skyscrapers. Indians even educated live on faith, there is no room for rational thinking.
Please make a video on portfolio management and wealth management in mba finance. Also how to prepare for kpmg consulting interview. Like how to prepare for the interview for any big company.
Thanks for the video😌 You are true , I I like to earn a crore as well but I always ask myself ‘ Have I learned new skills , is my learning in good curve so for my career to be ‘ I am in my 30’s too and find your talk very inspiring and educational 🙂 Subscribed 👍
management consulting will sound very fancy with good pay and travel but at the end of the day you will be a slave like no other. Slogging 12+ hours a day on a daily basis with physical and mental health going down the drain. Some are okay with it though.
Thanks Shatakshi for making informative video got to learn so much from your experiences and also please make video on what is your advice to your younger self specifically career. I have one question if we are applying for an mnc how to answer this question what is current annual pay and expected annual pay please let me know.
hi shatakshi Ive been watching your videos for a while now absolutely love them so thanks for that. Now my question is that ive just completed my bachelors in science and i want to move into mba is it a good descision will i be able to cope with others with a relevant background
I was craving for learning and because of that I changed 6 jobs in 6 months... But because I didn't had my mba from a good college I couldn't get into any consulting brand. Brand I am saying because I went I to consulting startup which was a waste My advice here is Do Mba from the creamiest college... Top 10 ... Otherwise cry for life
MBA from creamiest college, that is the bottomline. Ability, capability, learning, skills, nothing matters in front of the brand. For that matter, coming from out those colleges, the head start will be so much that toppers from 2nd 3rd rung guys can never catch up. So even if you work hard, it goes nowhere.
Hello, it's a wonderful video. I have completed my grads and i am thinking of taking up a good course, so what do u mean by formal mba from ISB???? Please reply whenever possible Thank you
Hello mam In this video i get Inspired by your journey. You worked really hard for this achievement. I would like to ask a question regarding the same... I am in my 30s right now and working in govt job. Recently i got interested in MBA program and i have been looking forward to giving it a try. Please help me with this about 1 year of MBa in India.
I dropped Singapore offer because my family needed back me in india. After watching your video, I felt disappointed that I shouldnt have dropped that. 😞
Trust me, there are things that money can’t buy. In the end we leave without money, but with a ton of regrets mainly related to family and friends. Stay happy and strong brother, India is an emerging economy, we will be presented with opportunities.
Is that 1cr. In India or US, Europe. I am sure given your credentials and ISB degree, i am assuming you earn that bucks in India. I graduated from tier2 college and now at 33 i am sitting at 60lakhs/annum in India.
Hi, I saw one interesting part in this video that you were project manager for Govt. of India. can you tell the steps required to reach to this position or can you make video on this topic?
What is about supply chain management? If anyone do it's BS or MBA in supply chain management then how much it can grow in career or is it good career in 2023??
Hi Shatashki can you please make video for nearing 40's. How to buckle up they might missed bus due to load of financial and personal issues. Connect dots where Steve jobs word
There could be something that might not be disclosed. Connections matter a lot in this world, that’s one thing people leave out and the opportunities they had. If you properly follow the stories of “self made millionaires” you can find a pattern of privilege and opportunities along with their garage stories.
@@princechaudhary3856 yeah why i was wondering is I dont have 1.5 crore in my hand or family savings max family savings is 20 to 30 lakh So i doubt will we get surely a good job after studying in wharton/harvard etc spending close to 2 crore on loan Because i spent close to 20 lakh on B.E while i got job offers of 10 to 12k rupee a month maximun was 25k or 30k i believe So only im afraid

How to join consulting firms when ur acads r low. Please mke a video on that. Plz show us the path to join consulting firms in tht way !! How to mke CV. Wt skills we shld gather
I agree with Prince, I would like to add that even if you grind, it’s not easy. I would say learn about whatever you have a genuine interest in (not passion - cause passion can change). There are many avenues other than consulting. And get into a habit of investing as a form of saving as well. You need to beat inflation. Relating to the first thing, as long as our population is huge, grades matter and it’s a lesson I learned personally.
