Divinity wanted to force Ben to embrace his godhood, Vlad wanted to force Danny to embrace his ghost half. Both villains are obsessed with forcing their counterparts to give up their humanity.

Geez I wonder how Dib, Gaz, Zim and Professor Membrane are gonna deal with the fact that their Planet Earth got permanently damaged thanks to Eon and Ben

Everyone's talking about Generator Rex, but Kid's Next door, Kim Possible, Dib, Jenny are also very cool cameos. (there's one other one but I don't recognize who it is)

The following’s just…a number of observations. 1:28, Throughout all this, the actor portraying Eon just fully absorbed into his new state of artificial godhood does such a great job distinguishing this Zamasu/Sephiroth type version of Eon, this “Divinity” persona he’s given himself, from the more dignified and controlled individual he was before. It’s like Palpatine shedding his Senator facade to show the crazy Sith Lord hidden underneath after he secured control for himself. 2:26, The tiny Bill Cipher-esque one-eyed triangle just made me ask myself how insane this multiverse would get if Bill found this corner of it. New rules, new supernatural elements (from new forms of magic to even wilder things like ectoplasm), new ways to get himself into the physical plane. 3:38, I imagine in the back of Danny’s mind, he’s thinking about how Ben had To'kustar like the one they fought when they first met in his back pocket the whole time and didn’t use it. But seriously, he now knows enough about Ben to understand he doesn’t take using bigger (in this case, literally bigger) forms lightly and prefers not just a challenge, but uses them only as a last resort. 4:46, This shot is legitimately terrifying, the evenly sliced chunk of planet just floating next to it, like Eon was cutting a piece of fruit with billions of lives sitting on top of it. That combined the immediate environmental disaster and overt civilian casualties (combined the gruesome mangling of Animo and Cooper) very effectively set the tone of Divinity’s “reign” on the story (5:53, even if there is some levity with Ben getting punched through a planet and reacting sarcastically about it instead of being horrified the Invincible-type devastation his body was caused as it tore through the planet, which in his defense, he thought he was just about to fix with magic). 6:12, Meanwhile, even as his ally has become a literal cosmic being, Vlad still manages to be one of the best parts of this series with not just his wit, but how cool he gets to be, fighting in his human form (half-ghosts technically apparently having access to their superhuman physicality and not just their powers when not in ghost form, or Vlad is just Batman too) and, 11:41, having badass speeches about having realized after years of pushing limits he believed he had, he and Danny apparently have none (if they can will themselves to stay in control). His new form was icing on the cake. 8:53, And of course, Monki, the alternate reality Saiyan transformation, is introduced with a Dragon Ball ki blast sound effect, but the added use of the main theme was a special treat. 12:57, Here I was going “Finally, he’s using Ecto-Clones.”, but also it was a shot of these image of Danny (who I didn’t notice had fangs due to nearing an evolution) flanked by two of his clones firing off Ghostly Wails. It’s cool that they aren’t regular clones and are instead pure energy constructs made of regular ectoplasm and Danny’s cold powers. 15:46, Speaking of Danny, him figuring out how to “evolve” his ghost form and it resembling Vlad’s and Dark Danny’s, coupled with a future version of Danny (which could very well be a version of Dark Danny specifically) would draw an interesting parallel to Eon technically being an alternate Ben physically transformed into a version of Eon, only this time that darker alternate version for Danny would be there to help defeat an alternate Ben. 15:54, Also “Ego much?”. 17:38, Both Professor Paradox and Clockwork are already pretty well done and the dynamic of the chipper time traveling adventurer and the bored, passive time god is such a perfect way to depict them.

I love how they put an actual human eye at 2:20 in the background.

Just realized…. I’m the ghost zone and beyond…. It was said NO ONE could open a portal to the ghost zone from outside Danny’s universe. But here eon teleported them like it was nothing. Really shows his power is beyond comprehension.

Man ... Animo is my favourite Ben 10 villain, so it really stung to see him go. But alongside Cooper's death, it was a great moment to show the threat Eon has become. Divinity captures perfectly how scary a mad, merciless god can be.

I love the voice for Way Big! And that nod to the Dragon Ball theme when Ben turned into Monki was awesome. It's been so cool seeing this comic come to life

Liked how you guys actually disguised Future Fenton’s voice. Most other fan dubs especially the other one just used Danny’s voice though granted it would be obvious who he is from the start so I guess they saw no point

This episode is definitely some of The Ink Tank's best works so far! This version absolutely elevates Chapter 9 of 5yl to a new high! All of the additional scenes were such a treat! A lot of them helped clarify the flow of events, which was nice to see! In the original version of this chapter, Divinity had definitely made a great show of just how powerful he was, however, the motion comic version does that even better! I also love that MonKi was given a bit more time in the spotlight, no doubt, as a love letter to the community!

My theory is officially that Future Fenton is Sam using some technology created by her allies from the future to copy Danny's powers (since she and Danny were supposed to get married the nickname Future Fenton wouldn't even be that wrong)

I'm LOVING all these references, and I see that divinity took direct inspiration from sephiroth, the antagonist that refuses to stay dead, and can reach even other dimensions/realities.

I love that we got a peak at Danny's possible ice form for a second there. 13:00

Another incredibly spectacular and amazing episode. The battle is quite literally taken to the next level in the Temporal Zone, the heroes and villians getting stronger by the minute. Ben showing off Way Big, Soarnitho, and Monki, Divinity showcasing his new raw and "divine" power, and Danny and Vlad going into their Awakened Forms. I really love the voice acting for all of them and the other characters. The appearance of Dib, Future Fenton, the cameos of some of the other big 2000's franchises from the big three networks, and finally the deities of the two shows: Professor Paradox and Clockwork themselves, were also wonderful. Rest In Peace, Cooper, and Dr. Animo too. He was a villian, but he didn't deserve to be betrayed like that. Since MonKi, Professor Paradox, Clockwork (the ghost) appeared here, I feel it's also right to pay respects to Akira Toriyama, David McCallum, and David Carradine as well. May they also Rest In Peace. 🫡🙏 Another job well done, Ink Tank. Can't wait for the next installment. Only three more chapters left before the finale. Things are getting too much though. Let's run it back, and start over Again. Edit: Martin Mull, the voice of Vlad Plasmius, passed away on the 27th. May this episode also pay tribute to him.

Interesting ambiguity with the name Tucker considering Jennifer (XJ9) Wakeman is on the future team and her universe also has a Tucker? It is more likely Danny's Tucker though. Jenny's Tucker didn't seem the type to grow up into a tech nerd but you never know.

This episode was so unbelievably the Waybig entrance was amazing reminded me of his first appearance. The deaths of both Animo and Cooper really moved me ashamed we can’t see more of them. Divinity’s personality and overall design is fantastic and he’s really a menace punching Waybig through a planet so casually. His voice actor is doing an amazing job. Love the nods to some many old cartoons and the Sayain form was a fun quick reference glad u could put it in. This part is doing a lot for both Ben and Danny’s characters and can’t wait to see how u finish it off. On top of Danny’s final transformation being just spectacular. Also Gwen and Ben doing magic together was so nostalgic and I really like how flows her Anodite form is here.

Will say I wasn’t expecting a saiyan transformation and the cliffhangers are always leaving the suspense to find out what happens next

This was the chapter I was really hyped to see in motion! Seeing monki in action, divinity in action, waybig & clockwork being voiced by david sobolov as waybig!!!! That gave me chills! Also my favorite part was seeing danny and vlads awakened forms.

I love seeing XJ9 aka Jenny Wakeman, Rex Salazar, Nigel Uno aka Numba 1, and Dib all apart of Future Danny’s Team 2 years in the future, that’s just awesome!

The art for this chapter is freaking incredible. Between all the transformations and the insane stuff Divinity is doing. I love the implication that this is how Animo became a head in a jar, and the vocal performance is spectacular all around, but Eon/Divinity is a highlight as always.
