I'd say let em grow out completely, I have done the same thing as you. I cut my hair to let it grow out completely but then I cut the sides and I regretted it a bit. but your journey man. regardless I think youlll make the right decision;.
sick locs man. I used to have the shaved sides dreads style, then cut it and now 4 years into growing full head of freeforms. But looking at you makes me think of cutting the sides again lol
No crochet method, people say freeform these days,I'm from New Orleans where dreads been a thing way before they got popular,we called it neglect,only 2 ways of dreading straight hair,is that what you did??
