Because whenever scot is around these guys they act like dickheads..they treat scot like crap..they never laugh at his jokes and they always make him go last on everything
True story: in the summer of 2005 a fellow soldier and friend of mine named Spc Sergio Gudino from Pamona California took a .50 bmg point blank in the shoulder. We were at camp Rustamiya near Sadr City in Iraq. I was unloading out Bradley next to his M1 tank. He was the driver. He was unloading the Ma deuce from the TC’s hatch, barrel first, and the loader didn’t clear it properly. The Weapon slipped from his hands and when it hit the floor of the tank, it went off. Point blank, through the shoulder. The only reason it didn’t kill him is that he was 6’6 and about 300lbs. A Massive human. One tough bastard. A guy my size would have lost an arm. He Went home and recovered in only 5 months and came back to the unit in December of that year, still deployed. Then his tank got hit by an EFP and he died in the driver’s seat on Christmas morning that same year. Tore us all to pieces. But he survived the .50bmg. RIP Gudino. KIA 25Dec2005
Damn man. I was reading that and thought it was going to be a happy ending. Sorry for your loss man. Thank you for your service. I lost my cousin in Iraq in 03. Lcpl Donald J. Cline. Rest in peace to both of these men and all the others who have fallen throughout history. I'm glad you made it home safe.
Scott: *has a .50 blow up in his face and nearly dies* Scott's Friends: "This is gonna be great video content" Scott: "I know right? And the jokes are going to be killer"
I was wondering does Scott get nervous when a .50 comes out nowadays, then he whips out his Serbu and Matt has to take it off of him! this is a great trio of nutcases!7
@@joetroy2904 oh there’s no doubt in Matt’s skill. If nothing else he should be good just from physically shooting 10s of thousands of rounds in his life. BUT his guns are almost never sighted in.
Imagine being a home invader, and out of nowhere you just hear that sound at 9:40 in the darkness. May as well say a quick prayer cause you're not leaving in a stretcher xD
Gotta admit I'm genuinely surprised by the ear near-miss. Like Matt, I too heard many a story in my Army years about tangos hit with the .50 where it didn't even hit them and was enough to tear off limbs or at least rend flesh. And yet the ballistic skull didn't even tip over. Science continues to baffle And impress me.
To be fair, I don't think a human would be fine after something like that. It probably feels the same way as having a flashbang go off in your face, damaging soft tissue (in eyes, brain and ear) and possibly knocking you out.
@@Caryll_byrgenwerth-scholar Yeah, it's the soft tissue damage from the force of speed and the rotation of the bullet. A real person would have died from the near miss hitting the ear (it would still cause damage to the brain internally), but the physical damage was likely accurate for the most part.
If you go back far enough on the demo ranch channel Matt has a video where he shot his 50 bmg through the middle of a house of cards and it didn't even knock them over. All this near miss shit is completely false.
@@treyvonmartin7989 Those watermelons were shot with a railgun on the DemolitionRanch channel. These 3 made videos for each of their channels on one day. They shot at a weight vest for the Kentucky Ballistics channel.
I would absolutely love to see this, but on a full dummy where the head is actually attached to the neck to see what happens when that cheekbone shot contacts
@@clappedhairline1877 Look up “My 50 cal exploded” by Kentucky Ballistics. That’ll explain everything. Basically he was shooting a Serbu 50 caliber rifle and it blew up in his face. It nicked his jugular and he had to stick his thumb in the hole in his neck to stop the bleeding while his dad drove him to the hospital. He almost didn’t make it.
I've seen a few people get shot in various spots on the torso with a .50 cal and it's pretty much the same thing except guts and fleshy bits and bones go flying everywhere, while the shooter only sees a red mist floating in the air for a few seconds.
I'm glad that after all those years, this video proves that John Rambo was a realistic movie after all. Heads DO explode to bits after being hit by a 50 cal bullet.
@@lntrlp4936 I hope one day I can be as unsimple as you must be. Gosh if everyone were brains of your caliber 2020 would have been very different. Please run for office
I did damage assessment data logging as a contractor for the US Army and I can say with experience that this is really damn close to what actually happens when a heavy round hits a head. I’ve seen some gnarly stuff and a truck mounted .50 will literally disintegrate a human head. I’ve seen one shot totally amputate a leg at the hip, I’ve seen someone cut in half from a 20mm rifled round. Bullets are real and they do a lot of damage lol
@@Scoob505 He had a counterfeit round that was loaded to extremely high pressure (like 5x what the rifle is meant to handle) and it exploded and blew the rifle into shrapnel that shredded his throat and broke a bunch of his bones. He recovered pretty much fully and now has an awesome story he can tell. Look up "Kentucky Ballistics 50bmg explode" and you can see more info. He's made a few extensive videos on the occurrence, as well as replicated the accident remotely with a string and high speed camera footage.
@@thanosbustedinyourmum Just you, they are friends and have been friends for a while now. What is forced is their little science stick, but they are laughing and living life.
