50's rise was unbelievable to witness. Get Rich or Die Tryin was groundbreaking and 50's underground mixtapes put that whole scene on the map. Once he made a statement in rap, he elevated all of G Unit to different heights. Banks, Buck and The Game all had very successful solo careers thanks to 50. The guy deserves all the credit in the world, but I'm not sure if the younger generation realizes his impact.

"Guess who's back" was 50's best album , it's the one that made Eminem want to sign him💯 I remember buying it at Kmart right before "Get Rich" came out , 50 had the biggest anticipation of a new artist in rap mainstream history, everyone was waiting for his first mainstream album to drop for a year & the hype was off the charts & most folks didn't even know what he looked like yet until he dropped "Wanksta" 💯
Facts Bro!! Before he was signed I had heard him on Mad Rappers album dissing the Industry. I was young listening to my older brothers stuff. But his song stood out to me and it was at the end of that album. I had also been working at a small record store in Cali and my bosses came back with mixtapes of 50 and I was that's that guy I heard before. I heard him and Green Lantern mixtapes with Whoo Kid. I went to record stores looking for more 50. I ran into Power of a Dollar and GUESS WHOS BACK!!. I was blown away by that album which is an LP I believe. I agree it's his best album. Then Get Rich or Die Trying was released after that.
I think I was in 5th grade when 50 blew up, I remember EVERYONE was bumpin 50 and wearing G-Unit clothes. I dont think any rapper blew up like him except maybe Eminem.
Get rich or die tryin is such an amazing album (Massacre is good too), even the movie soundtrack is great. None of those albums have aged badly at all.
