The greatest gift you can gift to your child is the gift of knowledge, . I will assume you are a middle aged person, . when you're middle aged it is hard to learn new things , like trying to mix almost hardened cement, . so the best way to learn something new at an older age is severe repetition over at least a month, . meaning if you want to learn this language you have to think in Albanian, . talk Albanian, . act Albanian, . listen Albanian, . even eat Albanian, . that means eat Albanian foods, read everything in Albanian and speak and think only in Albanian , . your brain and body will be left in a live or die mode which will force you to learn no matter what. . These 30 day will be hard but you will be almost fluent by the end of it. . Hope this helps 🤙😊

I can’t believe I’m albanian but I can’t speak my own native language💀💀 (lmao my parents didn’t teach me and just thought if I spoke to them in Albanian I would understand and since I lived in the UK 5 year me wanted to speak English cause I didn’t know I would regret it)
My girlfriend's native language is Albanian. She doesn't speak much of it, but I want to learn some basic conversational skills to surprise her. This is actually really well done. I like how you say the word/phrase at a normal pace and then slower. It's really helpful. The explanations for formal vs informal are also super helpful. I also think the words/phrases you chose are very useful ones. So thank you for making this!
If she doesn’t speak Albanian you could just speak jibberish and tell her it’s Albanian. This way you don’t go through the hassle of learning and you still score points with your girl. Good luck shqipe 🇦🇱🇺🇸🇦🇱🇺🇸
I don't usually click on those 50-basic-words-to-learn videos. They're not useful at all! But this one is different, I even feel like having to congratulate you for making this very good video 'cause, unlike the other of this kind, you explained the thing!! Awesome bro, keep going!
as a native Spanish speaker good afternoon gives me the giggles because it sounds like , little sh..t but anyways im doing my best to learn this language i love it. i wish there was a way to learn this face to face online. or some course where you can practice with others
Learn the Alphabet first, once you know that by heart, you can read Albanian, to read Albanian you have to use the sound of each letter, it’s like phonics in English! Once you will know how to read the rest comes much easy!
Faleminderit! I just arrived in Albania and I am trying to learn the language. It is hard to find resources for learning Albanian. This really helps. Thank you for teaching phrases that I can actually use. I loved your explanations and pronunciation help from slow to faster/normal speed.
@@greeneyed1288 Tung is mainly used in Kosova. Tung comes as a short version from the Albanian greeting word “Tungjatjeta” which means Hello. But Albanians in Kosova use Tung to say Good bye which is confusing even to us Albanians. Tungjatjeta as a word if we divided it (T’u ngjat’ (zgjatë) jeta) means “May your life prolongs”.
I learned Albanian 24 years ago when I spent some time volunteering there. I’m now at a conference where I ran into an Albanian woman, and I want to brush up and speak again! Thanks for a great video!
@@iVenge The relationship between ancient Illyrians and modern Albanians is debated due to limited historical records and linguistic evidence. the lack of direct, substantial evidence makes definitive claims difficult.
Thank you for this video, it's hard finding good videos on Albanian. I find the reading aspect of Albanian challenging because I'm still unsure of the sounds but I guess that just comes with practice.
Thank you I am trying to learn Albanian which is difficult for a native English speaker I’m sure it’s the other way around as well but this video is really helping me out🇦🇱
And then Some Albanians Claim that their language is pronounced as it’s written like how dude “Mirëdita” is pronounced as a “Mirdita” and “Përshëndetje” is prnounced as a “Pershendetye”😀
2:14 im more common with “qysh po kalon/kaloni” and in 2:32 i hear qa po bën but what is the difference? maybe its because in kosova we speak it a little differently

I see all the people have friends/relatives or second halfs from Albania. I think Albanian language will be equal to English in the next 100 years. I have gf from Kosova and she speaks Albanian i want to impress her but idk this language is so difficult as a native Georgian.
As an Italian person… I *NEED* TO IMPRESS MY ALBANIAN COUSINS AND MY AUNT AND MY GRANDFATHERS! >:] (not my mom though cus it’s too embarrassing to speak her native language w her 😭
How do I say “ This time will pass “ In Albanian. If a happy person read it it will make him sad. And If a sad person read it will make him happy. Please help
Context is very important in the construction of the sentence or phrase so it depends what message you want to relay. you would say “do kaloj kjo koh” but it might vary depending on what exactly your trying to say
I met some Albanians at work and they always greeted me saying "chavano or chavan oh" something like that but I can't find that word anywhere, can someone help me to know what it means or if it is some dialect?
Its just the dialect. We say ca ben o Wich means what are you doing? We use this more like with people like friends .Its like a gretting word. Pershendetje(hello)is used when you are talking to adults or when you meet someone for the first time Ckemi or ca ben o is used when you talk to friends
They either said “Ça bën” which is a Southern expression (Tosk dialect), or “Ça bone” which is a mix of Gheg/Tosk and people from Tirana (Capital) say. The way you described it I am assuming they said something like “Ça bën o” which I am sure is a southern expression definitely. Because we talk like that.
I'm pretty sure that's a swear word, my friend. I'm half greek and half Albanian so I'm trying to learn it, and every time I see "ropt" used, it's to say "fuck your __"
@@B.l.u.w.i.e “robt” doesn’t mean “f*ck your…” “Rob”is a word to refer to a person. “Ky është rob zoti.” “This person is good.” Robt is just the prural form of it refering to all your relatives and prents that live in the same house with you. When people say “Të q*fsha robt” then they mean “I will f*ck your family members” which is the rudest sentence. If you say this to an Albanian, you are putting your life in danger and I am not even kidding. Careful when you say this to a person.
