i was confused, that she doesnt know something very famous, but then i remembered, she most likely never had any work with people from manufacturing or it companies and dont have close friends there. But MicroTik basically invented wifi back in 1997 as we know it today. But yeh, its only known by people who actually know what is a tech company, not a poser and advertiser ( ex, apple ), who call europe a non tech continent, because a lot of these things come from small european countries which push the tech forward, like MicroTik has only 1.2B ravenue, but it invented WiFi as we know it today and advances it forward.
The korean guy is so good and funny , loved him , OMG , "Greece" and i was like "man , it's next to Russia" 😅 , the first Latvia member , Albania and Ukraine as well
Three new countries , Albania , Latvia and Ukraine , and yet not Croatia , for the disappointment of the Korean who insisted on Croatia 😅 , the video was really good
@@janakolasinac1686 They are actually the people who lived in Balkans before the Slavs came, they have the same genetics as Greeks, but I think you should be another smart Serbian of the internet. On the other hand the Slavs are the last one to have migrated in Europe. Absolutely, Albanian is a fantastic language! And the people are also wonderful! And the country too! I'm so happy Albania is our close neighbor 🇦🇱 💜🇧🇬
They are both East Slavic languages and they sound similar to foreigners. I am a South Slavic speaker and I would guess Ukrainian just because it has H where Russian has G. Otherwise they would sound pretty much the same to me.
It is just a stereotype from the Past that Ukrainian and Russian are similar. A lot of Ukrainian words closer to Polish and Slovakian, russians do not know them. In the same time a lot of Russian words have similarities with Serbian, Bulgarian.... Probably, some Grammar rules, sentences structure, words endings of Ukrainian and Russian languages are close + Cyrilic alphabet. But a lot of specific words with diffrerent roots.
@@o.k.4794 They still have quite a bit commonalities tho. I think people compare Ukrainian to Russian just because russian is more popular and more learned than polish or bulgarian.
@@ivan4ikok I think this is not the only reason. I understand why also because the Ukrainian language kind of be reviving now, for 300 years it was closed and prohibited for use in education, science, etc.
Someone should tell the Albanian German girl to look at an IE tree. The Albanian language doesn't sound like other languages and is not connected to other branches. And is not even east European but rather south European.

He was actually smart to ask how to say "yes" and "no" in each language so he would know if he was getting the questions correct or not. Yet when it came to the Latvian girl, she kept saying "no, no, no" in her language and he interpreted it as "nae = yes" in Korean. 🤣🤣🤣If you pay attention, when she said "no" in Latvian, he said "what", because he clearly misunderstood her answering in her language and thought she responded with Korean "yes". He still did a really good job!
I'm surprised How he got Belgium, because there's three languages there. Also the Ukranian woman said "tak" which sounds like Polish (I remember that from watching Norbert from Ecolinguist)
I’m Japanese. This video was very funny😁 Especially, I heard the language which is spoken in Albania for the first time. I thought her language is similar to German when I heard belgium. Of course, I know Belgium has three public languages, French, German and Dutch. But, I was surprised.
I didn't expect someone speaking in galician in this channel but it's really cool and it makes me feel proud. It's amazing that a Korean RU-vid channel shows this beautiful lenguage of Spain to the entire world.
@@hakanstorsater5090 both Portuguese and Galician come from the same language (galaico-portugues). When Portugal gained his independence from the Kingdom of León the language began to evolve in two different ways, the one spoken in the new Kingdom of Portugal and the one spoken in the Kingdom of Galicia (under leones control). The one spoken in Galicia were simplified and had a lot of castilian influence while in Portugal it maintained a lot of things from the "galaico-portugues" like the "ç". So yes, it's like a mix of Portuguese and Castilian but with less Arabic influences.
He was talking about "communist country" when he should have used the expression "former-communist country or post-communist country". He got really confused because of it
Celta de Vigo .. Just thinking 🤔 I read many Celts settled in Galicia a few centuries back which explains why sone of them have blonde or red hair. The even play bagpipes in Galicia. 😄
I've been many times to Galicia. It's a beautiful part of the world. It's true they claim very vocally their "Celtic" heritage, but they do not look alike at all. E.g. I've been both to Ireland and Galicia and the people look soooooo different. The guy in the video though is a perfect example of how Galicians look like "in general": dark hair and southern European features (Galicia is southern Europe)
@@KrlKngMrtssn I make reference from my Spanish teacher who is from Galicia and had red hair. I asked her about that and she said, " .. well because I'm from Galicia." But yes you're right; I notice a lot of the stock still retain the dark Latin features.
@@JosephOccenoBFH well, I guess there's probably always the exception confirming the rule. I don't remember seeing red haired people in Galicia, I think. But I remember seeing quite many in Ireland when I visited, and what a beautiful part of the world it is.
So proud of myself. I am smart enough to tell whether a language is a Romance, Germanic, or Slavic language, so when Latvian and Albanian came, it really threw me off, but I knew it had to be one of the smaller language families in Europe.
It’s because Albanian is not really that wide. It is only spoken by us Albanians and people aren’t really interested on learning it. Anyways greetings from Albania.
As a slavic speaker i could understand some latvian and it made me confused because i never heard such a slavic language. Then i remembered that baltic and slavic language are related and figured it may not be slavic but a baltic language. It sounds like a mixture of germanic and slavic to me.
The girl speaks broken Albanian.. it sounds like she may have left Albania when she was very small or possibly born in another country to Albanian parents.. sounded kind of weird but you could understand what she was saying
as Ukrainian native speaker i can say Ukrainian is more sound like Polish or Belarusian languages.Pls don`t compare Ukraine with russia, they always wanted to cancel Ukrainian language and make russian the main language to all USSR countries.(And erase other cultures languages). This is offensive when someone says Ukrainian sounds like russian or russia is similar with Ukraine.
Korean guy's key questions were about "La casa de papel", "communist countries", and "football"🤣 And finally he didn't know Shevchenko? He surprised me) Btw he did a good job👍 PS Guessing Latvia and Albania was difficult for me. I only know "thanks" and "Albania" in Albanian😁
I would have fucked up with Albania not gonna lie, which is kinda odd as I hear it relavitely often here as a lot of people in my country emmigrated from there. I would recognize only the swear words
Oh my god! I didn't expect a crossover episode. 😅 ... *pghhrrr* I'm amazed that half of comments are not "pls pin me" 😅, probably the audience of Mykoreandic and World Friends is mostly different 🙂... fantastic to see you there 😄
Asking how to say 1-10 in your language is one of the best way to guess what language is, you may not know what exact language is, but it may give you some idea of what the language family, group this language belongs to. Also, you can ask how to say family member (father, mother, son, daughter, brother, sister, etc), natural phenomenon (wind, rain, storm, snow..), common animals and plants, listen to the pronunciation of the language because some languages have unique sounds

As a Bulgarian, I wonder if he would be able to make the difference between Bulgarian and Russian, just as he's having hard time separating Ukrainian from Russian, which for me is a piece of cake, but I would laugh at myself trying to make the difference between Taiwanian, Indonesian, and.. other Asian languages. I recognise Japanese, Chinese, and, last, but no least-S. Korean. Super show❤
@namibiaxx1016 it is confirmed by a study made by over 30 scientists who wrote an article in the SCIENCE MAGAZINE by July 2023 that the albanian language is the oldest Indo-European languages still spoken
@@you_and_tirana6056 Albanian certainly changed and progressed the last centuries. Icelandic on the other hand is unchanged since the 11th century. So Icelandic is the most archaic and conservative language of the IE family spoken in Europe.

Tung is just a slang word Albanians from Dardania use. If we actually look up in the dictionary it is absolutely wrong. Tung makes no sense. Because it is chopped off from the word Tungjatjeta which is a greeting that means “Hello” but it’s more of a formal way of saying Hello rather than say “Çkemi”. Not saying that you are wrong for using it but to say Bye you could say “Pafshim” a shorten version of the full word “Mirupafshim” which means exactly “Goodbye”. Të përshëndes nga Shqipëria.
