Congratulations man!!! I am 46 days in myself. 17 years of drinking have lead me down a road I wouldn't wish on anyone but for those with alcoholism if you know you know. I regret everything but live and learn. Everything you said is 💯 correct. The only thing I will say is I have absolutely no social life. I've dropped most of my friends as I can't sit in the bars anymore. So the loneliness sucks but time will help!
i'm about to hit 5 years no alcohol in May. i can go on and on as to why etc, but i'll just say, if you're unable to control a vice, the vice will eventually control you
Yeah man, that's awesome! I've been sober for a whole 56 days too and I'm recording. Life has changed a lot and I have no idea what's ahead of me. But I feel superhuman💪
57 days for me so far, don’t even miss it tbh, can sit in a pub and have a laugh still and just leave a bit earlier, will have a few drinks here and there throughout the summer cos why not. Sunshine and beer is much better than rain and beer 😄
You talk about partying days on end and I know thats not possible with only alcohol. Have you used any substances in the past and did you also quit those?
Congrats on staying booze free. Your vids are different now and for the better as your followers are seeing more of your personality which helps people relate to u more. U dont have to give in to peer pressure and go bk to drinking at events, stand out from the crowd be different from the norm! U have seen so many benefits there are no negatives, keep going and keep transforming 👊 power to u!
3 years for me. Does having a beer on vacation interest me? Yeah for sure, but having a shitty recovery on my whoop isn’t worth it too me. I’ve also probably more than doubled my income, golf game is almost scratch, body is the best it has ever looked at 38, and I always feel good
I did 2 1/2yrs off alcohol enjoyed alcohol free holidays, ibiza twice, skiing etc, but started back in October last year, because I was actually missing enjoying a few drinks with food and a really nice cocktail or 2, or a nice cold beer ! ’m obviously a little bit older now, but I find I can strike a nice balance. I would always encourage anyone to go alcohol free though, getting smashed definitely equals lost days and garbage food !!!
It’s the drop in anxiety levels that I find drives me to continue with sobriety. Fair play Louis.... keep thinking about better value alcohol free options....🤔
Think you have nailed it in realizing the issue and then making a plan that is sustainable and realistic. Relegating the parties and alcohol to big events/times of the year leaves much more time to crack on with your life and not feel guilty. Also, sweet running top.
You are looking fresher and more vibrant Louis! 🙂 You can see you have lost that slightly puffy appearance in your face, which appears when drinking more. I bet you have lost some weight as well and you look trimmer. Tu vida es mas bueno ahora! Mucho suerte! (Btw, I am slowly improving my spanish....still a long way to go). You and other YT's serve as a good motivation for me, and I relate to a lot of what you said here and on your other videos!

The British culture of drinking alcohol is slowly changing. It's not easy to change when most of your friends are drinking every weekend. Living in Spain is going to give you a different perspective of life and culture.
I hate when people fall off because of an event to fit in ... or feel like it's okay . It wouldn't be accepted if it was meth . Shouldn't be accepted if it's drinking . Alcohol is the worst thing that has ever entered my life . There is no excuse or situation to ever go back

@@jimmyobrien8738no I don't speak for my self. Alcohol is sugar. We live in the sugar as the industry wants this. People get sick because this. I, you, all have to pay for people to get sick as they eat rubbish and drink too much. Sorry mate, I am not happy to pay for them.....

Im currnelty on a 30 day break now, tuesday the 5th of march will be 30 days exaclty of no alcohol. I did to just slow down & gain more control. Being around all my friends & family sober opened my eyes to how much we drink so now i am still going to drink but slow down alot. I can still have a good time having a couple etc and not go over board.

Let’s goooooo. I remember the video with uncle Mike where he was giving you advice and I saw myself in you when you were talking about the beers. I have now realised I have no control over alcohol - it has control over me. I can’t even count how many times I’ve let people down or had to say sorry because of the booze and that is not the person I want to be.
