I've been helping a therapist with her podcast for well over a year now. It's called "From My Soul to Yours" and the show is based on if therapists didnt have to follow "rules" what would they say? What would they tell you? This is it. But we are not seeing any growth. We've been present outside the show too. Growth is so slow. Listener count has been down as well since end of last year. I tried facebook groups, subreddit, doing tons of engagements as well. She's almost giving up already
I've been wanting to start a podcast for over a year, but nothing I came up with inspired me. Well - this weekend I literally stumbled upon my best podcast idea and I'm on fire to bring it to life! Pat - these tips are perfect timing for me! Thanks so much for putting this together for us!
That's awesome, is your podcast up? What's it called? I'll check it out. I too started a podcast last month and it's been so fun. Hope the best for you.
I am so blown away by the value you give away in every single video, Pat. Thank you for your generosity. I've benefitted immensely and have decided to finally take the plunge and launch my own podcast. (I made sure to use your affiliate links to buy my equipment.) 🤜🤛
#24 man! I was gone for almost 8 months and never explained why or ranted on about it. Just said ”it ends there” and continued like I didn’t even miss. Appreciate your VALUE!
Great information-- thanks! One thing, though, about the music tip. "Royalty free" just means you don't have to pay money. It doesn't mean there aren't licensing terms. There are always licensing terms, and sometimes they can deliver nasty surprises. You always have to read the complete terms, even if the work you're intending to use is "royalty free." Maybe we could discuss this on your podcast! 😊
Just listened to this video and i would say half of these are things I learned over the last year of podcasting. Which means the ones I was not familiar with are just as valuable. Cant wait to apply those tips!
Thanks for the video Pat. By the way it was nice to meet you in person at the VidSummit. I love my camera stand/ stand that you created. Such a great and practical tool
Thanks for the information and direction that you’ve given out on this podcast. I’ve learnt a lot from your tutorials. Been listening to your points on purpose to your audience I love this direction. Thanks for your input
This was amazing, Pat. Thank you. I’ve got a dozen ideas I’m going to be diving deeper into. I appreciate the massive value you shared here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Question: I want to do a Podcast in addition to poetry/movement/ coaching... All the same subject/niche. Should I have a separate RU-vid Channel for the podcast? THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!
I appreciate you for providing these amazing tips! I am currently in the process of conceptualizing a new podcast (which is new to me) and I am confident that your valuable suggestions will prove to be extremely beneficial.
Starting my podcast in the new year and appreciate all these tips! My podcast is going to be about film and television and feature interviews with my friends/people passionate about film. Excited to get started.
What’s a strategic way to break into multiple niches? Having multiple blogs? A social media with all around content? And how can you market multiple different affiliate products? Like where does all of the money come from if you only market one product?
about mentioning other ppls podcasts... how does it work... i simply verbally mention another podcast and it automatically ads me to related podcasts? For example... I mentioned "Mel Robbins" in one of my episodes... so, will I be listed under her podcast as a related podcast?? i'm a little confused... i feel dumb.... haha!
Amazing stuff right here, thank you. You’re extremely fluent, laser focused with speech and provide lots of great and useful info in short spans. Instant sub.
Good morning Pat, Now, this video is invaluable, these tips are of the chart, and very useful, keep binge watching this since the other day 28th March 2022, roughly, it is amazing, thank you so much for this video, this gesture is highly appreciated..
This is very helpful. I just started a podcast that has a very important subject of agriculture and food. I am a farmer and I wanted to have people informed about the importance of farmers in the conversation. Thank you for your video. Maybe someday I can get you to collaborate with small channel. Take care. Farmer AD
Thank you for sharing these killer tips! I'm working to develop an idea for a new podcast (new to me) and I'm sure all of your insight will be super helpful!
Awesome tips!!! Thanks 💜 I’ve been contemplating starting a podcast for quite some time now and all of this information was super valuable and helps me feel more confident to do it!
Thank you for this! I’m a very new podcast creator. Can anyone explain how mentioning other podcasts help your podcast show up as a recommended pod for their listeners?
Pat, great stuff that you put out. What is your view on paying a professional podcast studio business to handle all the backstage stuff versus doing everything yourself at home?
