what if we don’t have the funds to pay for the buzzsprout subscription and/or other helpers that cost money? is there a way to efficiently use buzzsprout on the free plan? but no magic mastering
I prefer Zencastr. It records, edits, and publishes all the podcast apps, makes clips the same way, and can auto-publish them to all the social channels with one click. If you haven't checked it out in a while, it's worth revisiting.

I’m blown away by Descript now. With Squad Cast I can get rid of my streaming platform because I was using it mostly for local recording anyway. I’ll actually be saving money! So excited!
You know I’m excited to use something like this to just polish off those few rough bits, right? BUT I worry it may make way for a stint of lazier (fix it in post ) creators. But then I’d like to assume the ones who put in the real work will shine more authentically

I would love to see this come back - I know you mentioned the amount of time it takes and many people couldn’t relate to the numbers being earned, but it is inspiring to see someone openly sharing massive numbers that has grown over the years. Maybe 2025 is the year the Income Reports come back 🤔
I think what people are most annoyed with is 12 minute videos that could be said in 3 minutes. This is why TikTok is doing the best out of all platforms. People don't want to sit down and waste their time on something that could have been said in a fraction of the time.

Pat, this was a great video. I heard you you talk a little about the brand hand on the Grow With Video Summit so when your video popped up on my feed, I had to tune in. This was a lovely presentation and it made so much sense. I’m leaning into it. I know who I’m serving and why. I already have the know. Like, and trust factor but I’m going to lean into it with more historical authority. Thank you for the inspiration.
What i wonder about this notion of "who" is this: how well does this need to be defined, and what are possible structures about this to constrain to... e.g. in the past i have run companies that we had a very tight customer avatar with demographic and psychographic definitions... but as I start my own brand, it feels like the target is very different, not just a specific type of customer, but the change agents that are looking for tools to change the world with... yet the way that sounds doesn't really sound like the segments that I have done in the past. Do you have examples of different people defining "who" somewhere? I get the concept that you're pointing to, I just don't get how with a personal brand that this gets defined.. given that we're not talking about a specific product to sell, but more of a conceptual need that a group of people might have. Any insight, especially with examples, are appreciated. Thanks. Great video.
