I finally went to battle Karstaag at level 50. Decided to take my girl Serana along to perhhaps distract him. Place the skull on his throne and run way to get ready. Karstaag manifests and instantly sends Serana straight up at mach 2 and clean over the walls of the canyon. She's gone. I battle and defeat Karstaag alone. I am wondering what happened to Serana as I open the ice doors to leave. There she is complaining; "I'm no fan of the Sun!" I had to laugh out loud. Yeeted out of a valley and comes back with the most intentionally funny canned line.😂
Colette is right. A dual-cast Circle of Protection with the Necromage perk unlocked can repel even Draugr Deathlords. After that you can send a Dremora Lord after them or whatever. Wards on the other hand are weak, save for one important exception: they block shouts, completely. Even dragon breath gets blocked, being dragon speech. The Sun Bane spells from Dawnguard are fun too.
I read into wards have saved many lives as a reference to hospitals. . Surely I'm not the only one. The way the voice actor says it is just different somehow
The Arondil one makes me so sad because you know the soul gem was what was keeping the ghost under his control and considering the things he made her do, it's no wonder she instantly killed him after the control was lifted :( The women of TES deserve better 😭
The women in TES actually have it very good, especially in Skyrim. Nords care only about whether you are strong, honorable and like mead no matter your sex.
