Chatot is one of my favorite Pokemon mostly because when I was young the first Chatot I found was shiny, and I didn't understand what a shiny was, so I thought that those were its normal colorings. I then came back after learning what a shiny was and found 5 normal Chatot and thought they were all shiny. I have liked Chatot ever since.

9:04 I used Chatot from an in-game link trade in pokemon pearl and its one of the best pokemon I have. It is level 88 for me and it has perfect moves. Chatter, mirror move, sing, and unfortunately, peck. It is so good to use and I am trying to transfer it for gen 4 to 8-9. Do not let down chatot because hands down it is super good

Quilladin has an amazing shiny. Dark red is my favorite color and it looks great. Chespin too, but I like Chespin already. And I'm so disappointed that Chesnaught (another Pokémon I don't like that much) doesn't keep those colors and is mostly green.

if chatot didnt have a low catch rate and was available early on in some games i do think it could have a good niche to stay on any team. If it had a evolution as well then it would be really worth using more often

Yanma was one of my fist Pokémon cards, and I found a few in one of the spin off games when I was a kid. I always loved their designs and thought they were pretty cute, although that could be biased because dragon flies are one of my favourite bugs. Yanma has been one of my fav Pokémon since childhood and I’m so glad he made the list for good shinies, because I wholeheartedly agree that shiny Yanma is very good.

Before gen 6 there wasn't much thought into shiny colouring, instead it was a standard swapping or inversion of set colours. This is why often pokemon that start of the same colour originally, end up the same shiny colour.
