As of person working in IT from 13yrs, appreciate you…Very good video…90% of india IT industries people are earning less than 10lpa and its truth no one can deny… it’s become trend some of those who get Google Microsoft job will 1) Start RU-vid channel 2) Sell free courses into money 💰 telling fresh graduates that you will be in FAANG one day with courses 3) if they lose job, tell that they started a Starup so they quit the job…and then repeat selling courses to students selling dream on 50lpa … one simple logic is why would anyone less than 3-4yr exp getting good pay at Google suddenly leave a good paying job and suddenly start a Startup in this tough economy, makes no sense…

Never ever join IT industry as it changes rapidly...any person's skill can be outdated after a few years..and no one can upgraded himself year by year as family responsibilities increase ..you will always be suffering from work pressure and will be in fear of layoffs..As you are graduate give a try to another long term and peaceful career.

1) The GRAPHS you have shown are not for INDIA. It's for the USA. 2) GOOGLE, AMAZON etc have fired employees but mostly in the USA, not INDIA. In fact, if you compare the past 10 years' data, more people are working in FAANG now in INDIA. Companies are hiring more Engineers in INDIA as hiring an AMERICAN ENGINEER is costlier. 3) The salaries are increasing in IT in INDIA even after the bubble has burst. Its easier to get a 10 LPA package as compared to 5 years earlier.

i guess you are missing something, students are not even getting 3lpa jobs , after 1 year of experience and internship and all.no one atleast from my batch expecting 50lpa , but atleast a job to start a career, we are 23 passout, and fortunately i got a job in startup which i lost in january. most of us havent got the chance to start there career.

Bro im really confused. Some say IT mai bahut job hai some IT mai bahit layoff hota hai. I finished my 12 im gonna do BTech in electrical in( tier2 college). Initially my plan was to prepare for government exam and join isro or drdo as engineer. Then i saw some video that in government job there is no much grown only job security and we can't grow. So i decided to codeing i researched like 2 days what should i learn and then i saw your video . Now tell me in my 4 year of my college should I prepare for IT job or government exam for gov job.😢

People still don't understand that pandemic tech job boom was result of supply crunch of tech. people available and sudden increase in demand fuelled by free money due low interest rate. Now the situation is completely reversed there is no high demand as predicted. Money is costly as interest rate are at peak and every company is chasing quarterly profit, less funding in startups, result in no so called 50,60,70 LPA, 1 crore packages. Era of 3 Lpa soon will be back. Whatever goes up comes down it is just matter of time.

@@Repulsion-kt3tx I think you have bias towards pharmacy. If you like it go for it. No need to worry about jobs and all. From my experience, things keep changing so nothing is permanent you just need to avoid sudden highs and lows as they will unsettle you. Like the scenario with CS IT going on now sudden high of 2021 and low of 2024. But in longer run they will be fine. Infact you can also look for electronics as there is good focus on semiconductor at present. In no way I am going to give you advice to go for one branch since I have my self been victim of this. Do your own study talk to multiple people understand their thoughts similar to what you are doing here and then make your own decision

@@Repulsion-kt3tx First of all there is no such thing as Java Developer, if you seriously want to be in this field you need to try to be Software developer. Coming back to your question, if your experience is between 2-5 years, anywhere between 8 Lpa to 20 LPA can be earned depending on if it's product based company or service based, if you have switched or not. For 5-7 years it's like around 25 lpa. Above that it doesn't follow trend like this and greatly varies on individual's ambition, Organisation etc AI is a tool that will assist programmers and it will not replace it. Especially the senior persons. People at the bottom of the pyramid may get fired like junior dev or interns So to sum it up, java related jobs are still there because of the huge legacy code base. People who want to have a stable and fairly simple and maintainable large codebase still opt for java. And a huge ecosystem also helps.

@@tsk8349 Not any government sector. But as a citizen of India and a person whose friend has shops, I've dealt with many government agencies. From local police, to food officers, to banks, to getting background verification done for passports, there is corruption in every level. I've coughed up hundreds of thousands of rupees for standing up for my ideals. Why would they reskill when you can just strong arm citizens to pay you under the book. Of course some govt servants are good but the majority is corrupt. What's your take on this, apart from cheap sarcastic take?

It is true before covid i was earning 4lpa with 4 yoe . I could crack only one company that is infosys that also given me same package . After covid i changed 4 companies and currently earning 25lpa fixed. In precovid era hikes were not that good 20%-30%. People have been shown negative dreams during pendamic that anyone can come into IT

Why someone will pay you 20k, without experience, just you are doing internship there .

@@ATechLead fair enough, but I have experience. And having expectations for 15k to 20k is not a crime, yeah I have seen people are ready to work without salary. There are also startups who pays 30k to interns I know people working there. So it all depends from people to people, and depends on supply and demand.

@@TikuInSoftware what experience do you have? Freshers are just a liability to the company. They don't contribute as such. So, being a fresher you should be ready to work for negligible salary in a full time job also. Forget about a paid internship. Don't talk about "some people", here we are talking about the other 99% . Some people went to the moon also. Sorry but see the reality.

@@ATechLead yeah people are doing unpaid internship as well, I am well aware of that. Don't need to aggressive, let me find a way, I should go for making some SaaS and make money out of it. I belive in myself, joined engineering college not because my friends were doing it insted reached there because I love electronics and today shifting to software because, why not? I have found this field intresting, and talking about experience yeah I have experience in MERN stack and soon deploy a platform to address one major issue for students. Ofcourse you can hire experienced dev with 20k a month.

@@ATechLead yeah harsh reality!! I think junior dev like me should build some SaaS, should stop looking for job. I have experience in MERN STACK, deployed a web app but I think I should make it on NextJS my friend (AI engineer) saying me to add AI in it, it will have business potential. I was an ece guy, but making transition to software and in this field for around 8 months.
