NOTE: This Premiere is going to be LOOOOONG!!
You're gonna want to get snacks and clear your schedule.
I apologise for some audio crackling in the second part of the video. When I film I have Audacity open in front of me to catch it when my microphone starts playing up, but this time the interference was too small for me to notice until after I'd finished filming.

Must’ve been so traumatic for the ones who survived may they all rest in piece❤🕊️

My favorite titanic survivor is Shaninah Abi Sa’b, a steerage survivor whose children went on to create the Joy Cone Company which makes ice cream cones that are sold throughout the world. She gave a very detailed account of her survival and worked hard to make a comfortable life for herself and her family in the US.

My great grandfather is Albert Horswill, crewman and survivor, he is the first person featured in this video.

Thank you for featuring my great grandfather Albert Horswill. He was a true mariner that loved the sea from a young age. He made over 30 trips aboard RMS Oceanic as a lookout, quartermaster, and able sea hand before being transferred to RMS Titanic for its ill fated maiden voyage. I’m so fortunate that he survived the wreck, proud of him.

I find it hilarious people actually criticized her for bringing her dog. Like that breed is small enough to fit in her lap. Ain’t no space being taken up. (Also I would deadass do the same thing) Also I have multiple Titanic books on Wattpad. In the first book I decided to talk about Isidor and Ida and put them in the same chapter because I felt like it made sense because that’s how they died. That’s pretty much how much I love their story.

In 1914, four year old Titanic surivor, Mary Joseph, died in a house fire in Detroit, Michigan. Her mother, Catherine, another Titanic survivor, died in 1915 from tuberculosis. The Detroit News article about Mary's death is very interesting. It includes the following passage: "Mrs. Joseph and her two children were steerage passengers on the Titanic the trip on which the boat sank."

A fun personal anecdote. At the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee you are given a “boarding pass” with the name and story of a real passenger. (Or crewmember) My first visit I got Reginald Hardwick 1:13:36. In any kind of media like this, I always search for him, so I was excited to hear of him here!

Best museum I have ever been to I have the boarding passes we were given...my son had a survivor boy and I had a surviving woman and husband had an elderly man who passed away on Titantic I only wish the museum would let us take photos during the whole museum not just them taking a group photo on the staircase ..I understand copyright issues but the donors did give the pieces to the museum..I highly doubt the deceased would mind if we took photos

Excellent description of the passengers and their mini-biographies. Thoroughly enjoyed the narration. One person you may have missed on the list of those who perished after surviving the Titanic was Archibald Gracie, who died on December 4th, 1912. Gracie died less than eight months after the Titanic sinking, making him the first adult survivor to die.

For another video, could you please include John Law Hume And Thomas Mullin? There were from my home town. Born a year a part and went to the same primary school.

The family from Detroit who left their baby in the crib when they left to go somewhere , was that normal to do back in those days ? How awful.for that baby girl...cant imagine leaving any of my children or grandchildren alone ! That baby deserved better. Then to place her on unmarked paupers grave ??? How strange for people to do

DiCaprio and Winslet gave only $20K between the two of them, for a survivor of the disaster that led to the movie that made them millions. WOW🙄
@denisedarnell1641
@denisedarnell1641 28 дней назад
How cheap could they be. I am sure they received millions for years to come !!! This saddens me. .Celine Dion gave more than them and she sang the famous song ...these celebs should have given more considering all the money they made ...it saddest my heart. I swear I would given every dollar I made to that Survivors fund
