This shit was ridiculously fun to play, I never thought this sort of asymmetric PVP milsim can be done but Karma and his team pulled it off. What a great op.

Dude I would LOVE to see more of this type of content. 30 minutes wasn't long ENOUGH my friend :) Edit: one suggestion is more commentary to explain strategies for us laymen. There were times I couldn't follow exactly what was happening or grasp the bigger picture of certain scenarios

I think staying dispersed and holding inside building would do well for the insurgents. Having to clear every building just because there's one or two guys in there would wear down the rangers equipment and they could hopefully pick off one or two per clear. No point peeking in the pitch darkness when they can see you and you can't see them

Amazing ! I would consider switching damage off on buildings with the FOB's on top of it OR code it so that everything on top of the building is eliminated as the builds are demoed! But other that that and lack of proper sound mod, it is really cool to watch!

Imagine if this could be a standalone game on UE5. I'd pre-order!

I'm working on a game (that won't come out anytime soon) and one of my goals is realistic large scale battles like Battlefield 2. Would you say asymmetrical battles of maybe 50 Americans vs 100-150 Russians/Chinese would be fair? I want the full kit of America but I know from a gameplay PoV America is over powered and broken 😂 so I'm hoping you enjoyed this Arma match with Karmakut and found it to be somewhat balanced. I'm also curious how you would balance something like American GPS vs Russian paper maps? I have ideas but since you are veteran I respect your perspective.

Per usual, great content pairs. Especially that little CQB bit. And this probably isn't the place to say it, but y'all gotta work on balancing coalition forces against the insurgents. Loved the vid, but I feel things were too far balanced in favor of coalition forces. I'd like to suggest a few things, thought not necessarily altogether. Five or so "foreign advisors" with NVGs- how they're employed is up to the leadership, and ONLY they can grab a set on spawn- or maybe just PSA that flare GLs exist. IEDs and mines/specialists? A couple Eastern MANPADs to negate air during the day? Perhaps a (mobile?) mortar or two? A more restrictive ROE when it comes to hard targets like buildings? "Civilian" spotters, maybe? Lighter SOAR style air? Again, not ALL of this together necessarily, they're individual suggestions. All things that can make the experience a little more interesting for all playing fields. I've been playing ArmA since 2, and these ops are always the best- and while yes the insurgents can respawn, they have extremely limited assets even for insurgents. While smaller rotary wing aircraft can be hit by small arms, the aircraft was by and large a HUGE advantage for coalition, moreso than it should be in my honest opinion. The reason why ops like this don't happen more is because of balancing, people go 'oh I don't want to have nothing and get killed 3 times by aircraft I can't even see or shoot at.' Less skillful/adhoc groups generally can't adjust their tactics to it, however giving them tools or restricting heavier ordnance for blue (hearts and minds, and I don't mean 200 meters in all directions) keeps it fun for them as well, and gives the infantry more things to do. That A10 took all the fun away-

The squad leaders or fire team leaders in the insurgent side should’ve gotten at least the gen 1 NVGs from CUP so it would kind of feel like low tech insurgents trying to even the playing field by having limited access to stuff like civilian drones and old tech NVG that were either looted or stolen

Whoever the crew chief was in Pair's bird did a TERRIBLE job at making sure the pilot knew that everyone wasn't out yet lol. That was definitely on the crew chief and the pilot for that pretty amateur mistake to be completely honest. 😂
