@@aSh-pi1in The term prey might be a little off since I don’t think Tinkaton is eating the steel Pokémon. If it finds metal it’ll just take it, usually by brute force. Just so happens that a giant hammer and some large rocks are fairly effective weapons against most living creatures

There is a theory that Mega Evolution was just bringing a Pokemon back to a more primal but powerful form. It could mean that the Roaring Moon Dex entry could be hinting at that theory.
@@ethandobbs Well with Iron Valiant, my theory is that the mad scientist that made it was a big fan of the Ralts line but had a crippling fear of Pokemon. So, he decided to make one based on his favorite but could not decide between Gallade and Gardevoir, so he made the robot look like a fusion. Or it is based on an undiscovered or unused Evolution of Ralts. Were you use a Dawn Stone on a female Kirlia. Making it look like a warrior princess.
We know Mega Ampharos taps into old DNA containing dragon powers and Mega Aerodactyl’s internal rock skeleton bursts out to better resemble how it did when it actually lived. This is a viable theory.

Koraidon is the not the mentioned king. In Scarlet/Violet when you take the history class, you’ll learn about the Paldean Empire and it’s King from 2000 years ago. So Wo-Chien, as well as the other ruinous Pokémon, should be anywhere between 800-2000 years old, roughly at least. It was also stated that the King was a Tyrant, so you can only imagine all the things this dude did.
Chien-Pao was formed from the hatred of all those who died by the sword that's now it's fangs (as we know from Violet's dex entry) but that leaves me with a question... How many people/pokemon died to that sword
@@arachineatzeer7478 well from what I can think of, the Paldean Region was probably at war with the Kalos region at multiple points. Seeing as Kalos is the origin place of Honedge, with a nearly infinite amount of them swarming about, I‘d guess it‘s a lot.
805 years ago is when the school was built. 2,000 years ago is when the paldean empire started their search for treasure, so realistically, the pokemon can be anywhere from 800-2,000 years old.

I think Rabsca is a Pokémon that has achieved semi-immortality. As a Rellor it collects mud and sand and maybe dung and rolls it around. Being around the ball so much lets Rellor transfer its psychic energy or soul into the ball. Upon evolving there is now a baby manifested inside the ball, and now Rabsca carefully tends to it until the offspring emerges. I think that Rabsca literally transfers its own mind and soul into this ball and rebirths itself in a perfect loop. As long as nothing happens to the ball or Rabsca, the cycle will never end. This may also explain why Rabsca learns Revival Blessing, and the other other one who can has defibrillators for arms

The violet entry for Miraidon is more interesting than the scarlet one: “This seems to be the Iron Serpent mentioned in an old book. The Iron Serpent is said to have turned the land to ash with its lightning.” The entry in the opposite game for both mons just mentions it being an alternate version of cyclizard
The "magazine" the pokedex are referencing is actually the Occulture Magazine which is filled with some crazy conspiracies and you can read them in the Academy Library in the entrance hall and the lighthouse lab. It's moreso speculation than anything concrete.
I believe Quaxly isn’t from the Canary Islands, it would actually be from Brazil, since Quaquaval is based on Carnaval, a worldwide known Brazilian celebration of it’s culture. But this is just my opinion
Roaring Moon's similarities to Mega Salamence makes me wonder if Mega Evolution draws out the power that a Pokémon would've had in prehistoric times. So theoretically, all megas would look similar to past paradox forms. That would be really cool if true. (this doesn't work for Mewtwo, but you could argue that it was created to be able to Mega Evolve)
I think it would be funny if we got one of those super hyper emotional characters in the pokemon anime that uses a hattrem to keep them focused. Like just imagine them getting worked up to the point where their just in their own world rambling as they get wacked across the room amd remember their in the middle of a battle lol

Theory: What if Quaxly had a different evolution line in the past? It did say that it came from distant lands, so maybe it still had its original Evolutions, and we could maybe see those original Evolutions in a future Legends game about the region Quaxly is from

I think the paradox pokemon are wild, since the information about them in-game conflicts with itself. The game tells you that they came from the past/future, but they're written about and described in books that predate the creation of the professors' time machine. The books that show the paradox beasts/forces of nature state that they're "illustrations of what people THINK they would look like", implying that the other paradox pokemon may be the same, which calls into question the whole ending of the story, which I 100% believe was totally intentional.

I'm pretty sure the king is not koraidon, I think you can learn about the king who is a person in history class at the academy and it talks about how he had received the 4 items representing the ruinous legends and then they turned out to be pokemon and destroyed his riches or something cause he was too greedy I think

In fact, historically Greece, China and India are more likely to be the origin of Aegislash than the UK. Plus Aegislash was introduced in the French inspired region, who used the sword and shield just as much if not more then the UK did
I dont see a lot of people talking about how the paranormal magazine in the future paradox pokemons dex entries is made by the dubious company which made the dubious disk which evolves porygon2 which is sort of a robot. I have a theory that in the future the dubious company makes the future paradox pokemon that are in those magazines
Another thing about the paradox form of Magneton. In the first gen there was a Betamon that looks like magnetone but the 2 balls without magnets (or without any magnets visible) so someone thought and draw literally a Magnetone and for the balls he attached 2 big magnets like the actully paradox form of Magnetone

The magazine they are referencing in the dex is the Violet/Scarlet book. The Scarlet entries don't say Violet book, they say magazine; and the same goes for Violet with the Scarlet book. They just don't refer to it as such.
Not entirely accurate. The entries in the magazine parallel the same entries opposite game's book, but at least in Violet it was several issues of a serialized magazine called "Occulture" rather than one cohesive book.
Ok here's a thing about future paradox pokemon: 1)the reason why all of them are robots is probably because the planet was no longer able to provides us and pokemon with substances to live 2)the reason why all of the shinies are chrom is probably just because in the future they wanted to simplify things so they made shiny chrom

The Jumpluff thing might just be its natural life span. I don't think using Cotton Spore has any impact in its life span if it's a young Jumpluff. Also, something to really have in mind is that all the Paradox Pokemon entries are supposed to be taken from sensationalistic/pulp fiction magazines articles so they MUST NOT be taken as face value.
Fun fact: Tinkaton doesn't have a shiny, it just scavenged the corpse of a Shiny Corviknight. Also the poison Pokémon that became Varoom is probably Koffing or Wheezing given the connection of pollution
When you said Quaxly could be from an African continent I yelled out “I called it!!!” Lol When I started Violet and inspected my house I saw a picture by the front door of what looked like Cape Town South Africa! Then add in the yellow daisies close to the painting that looked like a variety native to South Africa. I immediately hoped that we get an African inspired region next or eventually. Lol
Unfortunately, there are also a lot of things that point to Germany or the Netherlands being the next region. While id love a region based somewhere in Africa, its way more likely that they'll just stay in Europe and continue referencing Africa, South America, India and the like. If not Europe, then probably China or the US again (or Canada maybe). I could be wrong and I hope I am but the Japanese love European culture a lot.

The fact that Scream Tail/Jigglypuff hasn't evolved much over 1 billion years proves that it's a near-perfect organism. Unless the Pokedex is being hyperbolic with how far back it dates. After all, not much is known about Scream Tail, and the Pokedex is prone to exaggerated entries, such as Gliscor.
It isn't even a pokedex entry it is an ocult/conspiracy magazine article, the whole paradox pokemon are very dubius in time placement I even doubt they are pokemon from another time at all, iron hands it's described as an ancient pokemon, the paradox pokemon were there before the time machine that supossedly alows them to exist was invented and it runing on tera crystals probably means that it's not even a time machine tera crystals change pokemon types it doesn't make them more primal/futuristic
A bunch of these dex entries, specifically for previous gen pokes, sort of lose their shock value when you notice they're just rehashed or repeated from previous games.
Quaxly is most likely based on the Crested Duck, which is native to Asia, but more specifically, the East Indies and were brought from Asia to Europe on Dutch Ships. Does Quaxly dex entry foreshadow a Dutch region in the future (We also have the Starry Nights Picture in BDSP and Artazon, which is clearly Dutch inspired with its art, flowers and the windmill). We literally have 2 dinosaurs - Tyrantrum and Aurorus. Aliens: UBs, Clefairy, Deoxys, technically Lunatone and Solrock
Dinosaurs most likely refers to several of the fossil pokemon as they are based off of dinosaurs though there is much doubt surrounding whether or not the paradox pokemon are from the past and future.

Raichus entry was actually a reference to Thomas Edison killing an elephant to show the dangers of AC electricity. Also, I think the Golden poop shiny is a reference to Egyptian mythology

For the latter, here's what the sequel games said: Rumors of its origin are linked to a UFO crash site in the desert 50 years ago. 14:15 In gen 6 (if I recall correctly), they mention how Mega Evolution is drawing upon ancient powers and abilities. Given that the Roaring Moon is a potentially ancient Salamance, this means we're seeing evidence of this hypothesis. This would also mean that Mega Evolution is not perfect for restoring a Pokémon to its potential.
I’m pretty sure corvinight and bisharp don’t actually die, but simply drop scrap for Tinkaton’s hammer, like Veluza. And I feel that roaring moon is meant to show how and why mega Salamanca exists. Mega evolution can bring about old genes and features, so maybe Mega Salamence is an in between of modern salamence and roaring moon?
Funfact, dung Beatles eat dung as well, and lay their eggs in dung, so yes they do value the dung more than their own lives as many bugs do infact value their eggs more than their own lives, even using themselves as good source for their young
