when I was little. I was 3 years old, it was my birthday and my sisters grandma gave me a baby rabbit. Apparently. I was playing too rough with it. set it down. and left it sitting on the porch. well, I went to sit down and everyone was screaming at me. I had sat on the rabbit. the rabbit done died later. whenever I see that rabbit in heaven I'm going to hold it and cry, and tell it then I'm very sorry.

Hey Jamie! Well, I didn't exactly run over an animal ( I'm not old enough to drive) but there was this one time on my sister's birthday, we had found a baby bunny in our front yard. So we put it in a bucket and played with it a little. My mom found out about it and told us to leave it alone and but it in the backyard. 5min after we let it go, a hawk comes and takes it away. So that is my sad animals story. And like you did, I cried for about a good hour, and still feel bad to this day. Heck, I pray that rabbit is in a better place. So yeah, I feel ya. So...we had a bunch of baby bunnies, right, and most of them got sick and died (R.I.P. Chestnut.) So, there were legit two bunnies left, and we released them into the yard. We wait a day, and we go back to look for one of the bunnies, (Peanut), because Nutmeg had run away. My sister goes "I found him!" so, I start running to see him...but she actually saw a bird...and I ended up squishing the little bunny. I died inside that day. I literally cried in my bedroom for like two hours, feeling like a murderer. R.I.P. Peanut. *Sniff *Sniff

I love animals and chipmunks but I would have done the same thing.

Anyway, I once stepped on a small mouse intentionally, to kill it. No one likes pests...plus I didn't have a broom nearby to hit it with. ;-)

Jamie, you post EXACTLY like my BFF. Like, when you typed that thing about not hitting the brakes at 45, she could have written it. I shouldn't be getting this much enjoyment out of this, but I am. ;) And, sad as it is, my brother just took driver's education classes, and you're not supposed to swerve or anything for little animals, so you did the right thing. It broke my heart when he told me that, but it's certainly better than hitting another person or car. Still... my dad ran over a little bird once and I almost cried... no, that wasn't that long ago. :,(

You are an excellent story teller... And I'd say you definitely made the right decision!

Ok so a few years ago my mom would clean my fish bowl with bleach and she always did a really good job of getting it all out, but I always told her I didn't like her doing that because it was my brother and I's favorite fish and although mine was a 28 cent goldfish and my brother's was one of those ones that were like 1.50 mine had lived like 2 years and my brother's was like 1 year old we loved them dearly. Well one day I got home from school and went over to look at them and found both dead. When I asked my mom if she had cleaned my fish bowl she said yes. I cried for like an hour and mourned their death for like a year. When I finally found the courage to get another fish, I told her that I was cleaning the fish bowl every time and that she wasn't allowed to even touch my fish bowl. Sadly that was the start of mistrust for her. Also the one time just the other day she told me that my kitten was safe and my kitten ended up falling and dying. I was upset especially since I had told her that I didn't think it was safe there for her.

My favorite animals are dogs and my favorite dog breed is Irish WolfHound.

I would like to keep this short but you are hilarious you're sterile areas the situation the circumstance I have tears with you but they are not of Sorrow there are Lovejoy absolute and lyric hysterical about to roll out the chair I'm sitting in joy I know that's sad but it is typical of my soul that you did the right thing because I believe our lives more important than these animals who coincidentally ran out at the wrong moment and I always say I just left a squirrel pancake or in this case a chipmunk pancakes for the morning crows to enjoy so keep doing what you do I truly enjoyed you miss Jamie Grace be blessed

Girl, I hit a raccoon once. It was such a big raccoon it actually messed up the axle on my little car and I ended up crashing into the ditch. So. I think you did just fine, haha!

I was in the car with my mom on the way home from something (can't remmember, it was 4 years ago) and she almost ran over a turtle. Then we went back to make sure it was ok and the turtle was gone. I wanted to see that turtle.....
