Yep, watched it last night. Healers stayed up on the ramparts. Melee didn't run past healers range. 1 person on middle, left and right turrets each. 2 dedicated ammo and repair runners for turrets and wall. Everyone doing their role. Ammo runner would switch with dedicated turret Gunner so Gunner could grab ammo and they would switch out when Gunner got back. Most importantly, only a handful on comms calling out commands AND PEOPLE FOLLOWING THE COMMANDS. IT. WAS. GLORIOUS. Faith in game restored ❤️

Thank you for showing the entire Invasion, rewards and also the level of excitement this mode brings Baggins. I'm looking forward to New Worlds release. I didn't lvl my character to max because I was spending so much time testing weapons, and recording PvP duels for content Haha. This gave me insight for the amount of content they have for endgame. Great video!
Hell yeah! Wars, invasions, breeches, outpost rush, expeditions and just general open world content. I don't think we'll be lacking stuff to do. As long as AGS adds new stuff to the game within 4-6 months of release it'll be plenty to keep us busy.
@@connman8d617 I agree, we have so much content and I believe when the devs see how dedicated Grinders are for New World they will definitely add hard mode excavations, and arena's. Yeah and we should be getting a lot of updates throughout the rest of the year just because they had so much time to come up with good content ideas. It'll be fun.
To all those who would look to nerf this (yes I see you moaning in the forums) STOP! Give us some content that actually takes fighting for as you've already killed PvP.
Invasions are not even all that hard once everyone understands the mechanics and what needs to be done, it was only difficult the first few times because no one knew wtf to do.
@@Miellll Exactly why AGS should not cave to demand to nerf the mode. It should be challenging because 3 months after release when everybody has a 550+ gearscore it won't quite be as challenging and we don't want it to become an absolute pushover mode.
we have won our first invasion today, it was bugged though, a lot of enemies didnt leave their spawn. There are no additional rewards if u win, the town just doesnt loose its features.
The game was great in beta but what do you think of the issue of heavy armor having such high magic defense and using seals with your faction gear to make your own gear? This method kind of made a meta on my server for questing/pvp 2-3 pieces of heavy and some med or light to keep your weight low and defense high plus it replaced cooldown with resilient 4.4% reduced crit damage taken. Except at 55 the gear gains resilience and keeps the cooldown giving 20% reduced damage from crits 10% cooldown and 7.5% reduced physical damage from gems I added back to the gear but can be switched with magic protection if needed.
Glad they fixed the siege weapons working for Invasions, I remember you had to use TNT lined all along the gates and fill up the middle point with as many as you can to prepare for the final wave. Good times, it was so hard. Nice video,subscribed!
If you take it relatively chill and don't try to min-max every second, I think about 200-250 hours. You can certainly go faster than that, but I expect those numbers to be the average.
@@connman8d617 ya it takes a shittload of time. But gotta keep in mind older mmos also took a long to lvl up upon release. Incr in xp gain usually comes when playerbase starts massively dropping years later
I been in the beta for awhile and i manage to level up my Sword faster than my life staff. What would you suggest i do to grind my life staff when the full game comes out?
I've really taken to your channel for New World content, you're just good to listen to as many other RU-vid guys can sound abnoxious. You seem to do quite good damage along with your healing, are you a Paladin? Does it work well for a balance of keeping guys alive while you can dish considerable damage? I mean surely a sole fighter class would have went down being caught in a firing squad like that
The concept of this si very cool, but reality is that it is extremely hard to coordinate even 20 people for a raid in WoW, so it is pretty much quite impossible to coordinate 50 people. Sure you don't actually NEED to coordinate all 50 but even so people generally do wtf they want regardless, the majority of people do not like to be told what to do ,even when they are clueless. :)

@@escarretada Are you saying it's easy or what do you mean? Cause the sounds of it he said alot of people failed it so i assumed it was harder than before as my group i had last test was just running all over the place and we won easily
invasion looks great but people need repair gates more then run around like chickens with head cut off. guns should be used on the skull totems more then on minions due to those channeled beams. at least when the minions attack there is a delay within their attacks. looked like a few people were focused more on the minions then the totems and some people were just sitting in guns not reloading and playing more soloish in comparison of letting the gun get refilled. is a second person able to refill a gun while someone is inside it? Ive heard mines spam outside and inside of gates is important as well. though obviously need to leave a path since their more like motion sensor traps then mines being that far above the ground lol.
My concern is about end game content after people hit 60 which will take a few weeks - my fear is that currently there is not enough to hold players longterm. I think the game will do fine initially- but I think end game content will be a problem
you think wow released with content worth 17 years of playing? Obviously endgame isnt yet all that great but shifting from a pvp survival to a PvPvE MMO New World imo took a pretty good turn, most people forget that 1 year ago there was almost no PvE in this game. The simplest way to quickly add new content for lvl 60s would be adding a Hard Mode (Level 60 mode) for the 4 Low Level Expeditions.
@@coinneachXO WoW was in a much better shape at launch in my opinion it had 14 dungeons and 4 raids. Also it had fully fleshed out classes that added a lot of replayability for alts. New world has no need for alts and has a fraction of the dungeons- which are not all that great either. The boss mechanics are basic at best and overall none of the New World dungeons left a lasting impression, just feel so mediocre Please don't misunderstand that I am a wow fan - I quit it over 15 years ago and never went back - but New World PvE wise is in much worse shape The real issue how quickly can Amazon add compelling content for end game PvE players to keep them around more than few weeks?
@@theseventhammer you forget that wow was ALWAYS designed to be a pve mmo, while new world originally was designed to be a pure pvp game and basically ALL pve content has been only began to be added since August 2020.

As players we should expect content rich products at launch - if Amazon had issues delivering this because of late development stage redesign- that is 100% their problem and players shouldn't have to make any excuses for the developer
This invasions looks nice and funny but I think it's too easy. Of course now it may look it's hard but it's beta, you don't have end game gear I think (if you have end game gear then it's too easy to obtain it). And if with that gear you can reach final wave then it's too easy. You should be able to reach max 3rd or 4th wave currently, otherwise ppl after 1-2 month will do it in semi-afk mode.
@@prospectbasement6723 Pointless pvp with no meaning. If this was something like Albion, lineage , eve , yes would actually work, but no just casual pvp ... So they tried to focus both but but made both actually bad
@@theseventhammer The greataxe has a bug where if you heavy attack with the 2nd attack of your combo it hits twice. Nobody is going to get banned for it though as the only thing you have to do to exploit the bug is to swing your weapon so there's no way that Amazon can hold players accountable for simply left clicking.
