I don't know. I kind of like it when Survivors try to bully after I biff a feral frenzy. Like, y'all playing stupid now, gonna be easy pickings when are start not wiffing.
you get rewarded a higher score when you do more objectives. if you end the match too fast, you miss out on points. there is a reason why post legion always ended the match with the most points and its because he was able to prolong the match.
For any fellow legion mains, enduring has a secondary effect on legion. being pallet stunned out of your power has a faster recovery than the normal cool down. so hitting a survivor with frenzy and then allowing them to stun you gets you the follow up m1 much faster.
Legion has been my favorite since they were released. Just the novelty of being a runny boi with a knife seemed fun and despite all the reworking, they're still my favorite. Glad us toxic legion mains are getting some recognition :)
Most of my game consists of me doing the gens, Claudette/Feng Ming crawling on the grass, Megs saving up sprint bursts, any other survivors that farm me.
I think he’s so lame. They were advertised as a gang and a disguise, but the operate separately and are as obvious as possible. Gameplay doesn’t match advertising or lore or theme or anything.
I wish I was this good at legion. I’m really, really bad at playing him, especially if the survivors are SWF. But I feel like my knowledge about him has gotten a lot better since watching Otz. Thanks for your in-depth, education videos man. I really appreciate all the help you’ve given me over the months.
Non-Legion Mains: OMG this is so crazy, it's imposable to get kills as Legion. What a mad lad! Legion Mains: OMG he's not bringing any bits of paper to make his Feral Frenzy duration longer? What a mad lad!
@@jackroche2065 The cards are so stacked against killers in this game that no win is luck Killer makes one mistake: might as well abandon the match Surv makes a mistake: gets saved by flashlight clicky clicky, or pallet save, or ds, or unbreakable, or deliverance, or adrenaline, or dead hard, or bodyblocking the hook, or last second sabotage, or there's no hook around for the killer to use, or instaheal, or firecrackers, or a lucky 4% and last case scenario the hatch. If you manage a win as killer, give yourself a pat in the back
@@Jrimm I assume it hurts to call yourself a main when you get bumstomped a good amount of times with your weak killer. NURSE OUTDATED :Demopls: SPIRIT OVERRATED :Demopls: DEMO ACTIVATED
I love enduring on legion so much. It's the one perk I'll never take off. Enduring, The new ruin + Undying combo, and Thanataphobia (to make the regression a bit nastier to deal with) is my go-to build right now.
@@chocolatesamurai7236 pop wouldnt make sense with Ruin+undying. You can't kick a ruin gen. Thrilling stops the regression that ruin has for 16s so its not the best. BBQ would be better, discordance, surveillance, surge, tink. As for thana, its dogshit never use it. Even at max stacks its only a few seconds
@@chopstyx141 Legion is very strong if survivors don't know how to deal with it. But if survivors are efficient and mostly spread out on a big map, it's terrible to play. I love playing Legion though.
@@CWess14 you're overcomplicating lol. He always says " This is Otz " and then makes a joke hinting he isn't. The joke is that CNN is wrong that he's Otz and that's it.
@@CWess14 ...his name is Otzdarva. Yes. The joke is that the channel name is Not Otzdarva. If you can't tell the CNN joke is a political one, satirical or not, you really need to start using your head more. It's a simple joke: CNN is fake news. He's probably saying that sarcastically, so there's no reason to get so mad over a small niche joke.
It warms my heart to see Otz using Surge. It is by far one of my favorite perks to run on nearly all the killers I play! The only gripe i have is the cooldown. It only activates on a basic attack, within a certain range, and cant affect regressing generators; I see no reason to add the cooldown when it has so many limitations already.
8% regression is quite bad too, even if you down every survivor twice and hit multiple generators (which is very unlikely). Pop has, on average, more inpact on a match than Surge. So I'd say Surge is definitely underpowered with range, cooldown and activation restrictions and a rather small effect. Not having to kick gens is a plus, so I really don't know what would be the best way to balance it :).
I was genuinely expecting the 4th perk to have been Thanatophobia because he was talking about how he was hoping to have everyone injured for as long as possible and Thana would make the ability to do basically anything just too long when affecting them all
I came to the realization recently that Legion is meant to be a discordance killer, the whole point of the power is to cause chaos and panic. Which is true to the characters I suppose.
The movement speed increase from devour hope is actually bugged and doesn’t work. It’s been like that ever since spirit released and was just never fixed.
That was very Chad of you to let him get the win after he almost outplayed you. Much respect and keep up the great work, I love your voice and your commentary. I can watch you for hours on end without getting bored.
I think Legion should get a "rework". In a way he does actually looks more like his spotlight trailer. In his cinematic, Legion is disguised as a survivor and tricks the other survivor. Imagine Legion doing that in the game, like a Spy in Team Fortress, you disguise yourself as one of the survivors in the match.
I was able to get a 45 win streak (Not counting hatch offs) with legion, until I got a 3k on midwich. The general build I used was BBQ, Pop, Corrupt, and Brutal. I mainly used Legion Pin (Broken after frenzy hit) and a duration add on. Later on I swapped corrupt with ruin, and I believed it worked well. I've learned that if you play *really* aggressively and use perks like pop to your advantage, legion can be a great killer (not s tier, maybe b).
Brilliant idea, completely removes out reliance of having to get multi hit with frenzy since you are affecting gens directly. I personally use bbq, butcher and monitor&abuse build with which I play the same way as you were doing but it relies too heavily on survivors being grouped up. Alas when it works it works amazingly
I loved watching you play Among Us on twitch, would you upload a few games of that on here? Your double team with Monto was excellent 6 double kills :P
I quit this game and gave up on any sort of balance and hope to have fun with killer when Ruin was destroyed. I tried to come back when pyramidhead came out and hated it. This single video has made me decide to give it another try. If Otz can make it work, especially this efficiently, anyone can. Thank you, Otz. Also, you're a bastard for convincing me to reinstall this god forsaken game xD
Otz (if that is who you are), you said that with devours movement speed buff, legion moved at 120%. If you weren't counting decimals, this would be true. However, the actual speed with devours buff is 120.75%. For anyone confused, movement speed buffs/nerfs are added together and then applied as a multiplier to the base movement speed. Some killers have more than one base movement speed, which you can find in the wiki's movement speed page.
Survivors crouching on walls is such a weird tactic. Around corners and props I understand, but on the flat walls in the open you're not hiding from anybody.
Can’t wait to see 50 win streak with Demogorgon, hopefully it will encourage more people to play him (I legit feel like the only guy who even knows Demo exists let alone main him and it makes me sad)
6:14 Devour hope has been bugged for years and doesn't actually give you the haste it's supposed to I believe. Because after hooking someone it does show in the bottom where your perks are that it's active, but on your status effect bubbles to your right, haste is not there.
With videos like this with no chat, it'd be a little funny to just randomly go, "Umm, MamboJambo69, I already answered that question. Please read the FAQ."
Concerning the Jolt and PGTW: Just a few moments ago, I 4k'd a swf after having a horrible start Knight map, aint too bad for Legion...tho devour hope and undying spawned right in the open, both hexes cleansed within 2 minutes - no targets within the first minute - missed multiple frenzy slashes - got stuck on obstacles while chasing Decided to 3/4 gen, the only option left and jeeeeesus! Juggled four people, while defending the generators with only two perks Push em off the objectives, keep them wounded at all times and focus the weak links in the chain, pop and surge will do the rest - et voila, 4k with half a gen remaining. The definitive meta build
Great video. As a legion main, I love to see how others playstyles and preferred perks compare to mine. But I thought you would have done something similar to the 50 wins as hag: select 2 games to highlight from the stream(s) when you achieved this. Don't get me wrong, I like how you showcased the build. But I was under the impression that, like the hag video, you would be highlighting 2 of your favourite games from your 52 game win streak, rather than record 2 brand new games to achieve the same goal.
He would’ve done that again but he mentioned he either lost the footage that we haven’t seen yet and the games he does have from the streak he already posted on here
14:35 actually you can defend hooked people against healthy survivors - you get one hit in frenzy, they try to go for the rescue - you hit them again, their unhooking action is interrupted, you go through the cooldown, and if you have cold dirt+cd mixtape you can just hit them immediately, you'll get the exchange, if you don't you'll probably get the exchange anyway by playing carefully. So here's another Legion tech for you. I see quite a few people panic when they get interrupted since they don't usually expect it, others will react almost immediately (key word - almost) and by the time fatigue ends you spam m1. Of course have to watch out for Desperate Measures or any faster unhooks for that matter, they can screw things up
As a rank 1 Legion main I can confirm this guy know’s what he’s talking about. I haven’t used the exact perk build in the video but I’m gonna try it out today. See if I can get that 50 win streak.
I still haven't learned the ins and outs of all of the killers, but I was watching this while in matchmaking Of course, I got put up against a legion, but some of the tips said in this video actually helped me, and I think I had one of my best runs yet, all because of it
Man pop and surge are good. But I can't get over how much I like the new Ruin and Undying combo. I'm basically using it on every killer to great effect.
It works!! I'm main legion and really work for me, the add ons I use was the filthy and the nasty blade, so when I hit they with the power the mending is a little bit longer and they stay more time injured, and when the devour pop it's insane!! 8/10 because in some matches they found devour very early
